Boruto: Naruto Next Generations just aired today and a whole lot of people are pretty excited (me included of course). Went in cautiously, but this episode was surprisingly good! Like no joke, I really liked it. Was pleasantly surprised all episode long. Strongly urge all of you to go check it out.

As someone who doesn’t read the manga and forgot the movie existed as it debuted far too early as to be just plain spoilers, I feel like this first episode wasn’t redundant at all, if you’re going to read manga to an anime it should be read only after you’ve seen the anime, manga spoils and ruins anime, where as anime cannot ruin manga as it has more details and enriches the story you already know

With Boruto Idolizing Sauske so much I’m curious to see what route they take Sarada. I hope that she is dope and not just a background support character like they did with Sakura. I mean she is an Uchiha so she has to be dope right?

the problem witn boruto is that naruto grew up with no family, meaning he would be an extremely overprotective father and husband, he would be scared of losing them. Naruto is to busy tk be with his famiky because he is Hokage, really? The third was always walking around smoking or watchinb people on his crystal ball, he didnt seem that busy. Also, how did a world hardly in the early industrial era go to almost the post modern era in less than 20 years? None of the characters are unique, they are all just copy and pastes of their parents, with little exception. I hate that every child has all the jutsu that took years for their parents to master. Their is so many other things wrong with Boruto. I personally do not consider Boruto to be canon, I am almost tempted to create my own fan fiction on how it should be.

I love Naruto grew up on it….but I really feel that the series should have finished after the Naruto: The last movie…Naruto became hokage, he got a wife and kids, and the world was in peace it could have finished there and been perfect….And then they brought in Boruto. He’s just a redesign of younger Naruto with all his bad qualities brought to the forefront with no real outstanding characteristics that OG Naruto had…. Boruto is a bust calling it now

I really hope they don’t ever bring back jinjurikies that was the most annoying thing ever. If naruto was just about a badass ninja that didn’t have to rely on a tailed beast for power it would be an amazing anime.

You’re coming off as if we have ALL read the anime. This is COMPLETELY new to me, regardless of chapter 700 coming out a few years ago. Seeing Naruto as Hokage threw me off because I saw no prelude between episode 500 of Shipudden and Boruto episode 1, although I knew Naruto being Hokage was bound to happen. I hardly read any manga. I never even seen Gaiden. This is all new and drastic to me
