It’s been years since I read the manga, and I never get into the anime because of Asta’s voice so I can’t help you there x)
But if you want openings to react too, less known from what I saw, I have some ^^
My favorite one would be Fruits Basket. 5 openings, very different from shonen stuff.
There’s also Pandora Hearts, with 1 op, Wolf’s Rain, with 1 op, Letter Bee, with 2 op, D.Gray Man with 5 op, the different adaptations of Negima with 3 or 4 op…

Great vid. I like the 3rd opening too. I always prefer sub but the Asta voice actor was just too much at the beginning. I got used to the VA’s screams eventually but still. You can try Tokyo Revengers. It’s pretty hype right now. For a longer anime, you can watch Hunter X hunter or even Naruto.

Sub is the best but it may be annoying for you for the first 20 episode because asta screaming is annoying, after that it’s way better than the dub. It was the voice actor first time voicing a character but after time it gets way better.(since 2018 (Fire force, rent a girlfriend etc.) he got many more roles that’s rare from a newcomer in 2017) Some moments like the comedy and fight sound way better in sub

1. Subs all the way. Asta’s VA gets better as the show goes on and becomes really good IMO
2. I’d say that almost all characters have importance and get fleshed out and developed really well.
3. The animation gets spotty at times, but does improve as the show continues.
4. The fights are POG especially in the final arc. If for some reason you choose not to watch the show, you must give the fights a go.
5. Marriage in shonen…..Naruto.
Its a worthwhile show with many satisfying, wholesome and emotional moments. Its personally one of my absolute favorites with some amazing characters. Yami when you meet him, is an absolute chad and is an instant GOAT.

Black clover has the best openings in anime, also as for me black clover is the best Shonen there is today, in terms of everything like characters, story, pacing etc, the only problem is the lack of animation at the beginning, but nonetheless, the animations is stepping up in the previous arcs specially th spade kingdom arc….

The animation is OK for the most part, however it has some weird moments but what can you expect from a weekly long running Shonen. Major fights are well animated tho 🔥🔥

Black Clover holds a very special spot in my heart, I know it starts out a bit too generic and that sometimes the story have some problems, but I think everyone should give it a chance, the characters transpire charisma and most of them get some kind of development, or at least get more mature, even the adult ones, to the point that there are barely any character I dislike or forget about. The fights, the powers and twists are also very good and entertaining, so before you give up after 3 episodes, I urge to keep going on, sio you can have one of the best experiences modern shonen can give you.

i love abt black clover is that the development of it is not all about asta only, it focuses on other characters too. and about the skull, u will be very surprise on the story behind it. i can say that the pigtail hair girl is one of the best female characters in shounen out there, especially in the manga right now, it’s going crazy. must check it out!

1: most people prefer the subs. i promise asta’s voice gets better.
2: the show has a lot of characters, but just about every character is very memorable. (at least in my opinion)
3: the animation can be pretty rocky at times (weekly anime with a studio that treated it like garbage,) but it absolutely delivers when it counts.

I say stick with it until at least episode 25. That, in my opinion, is when it started getting good. The arc starting episode 40 is when it got OFF THE RAILS good.
And I actually like sub and dub in equal measure. It’s one of those where the dub is just as good.

3 years ago I used to dislike BC just because it felt way generic, I was completely wrong, every character has its own development and importance in the series, Asta actually needed his teammates to win strong enemies, and the entire elven arc was so interesting, caught me off guard.

9:27 the animation is the animation of a weekly anime, its quite decent but its not on the level of seasonal animes, BUT when it has its high moments the animation does get better, the big fight scenes are a joy to watch

12:22 the magic in the show is awesome, very basic standard types of magic but used in cool ways, and theres even some random magic types thrown in there to spice things up, like Charmy a member of the Black bulls uses Sheep magic for cooking, lotta weird stuff happens

Either version is ok. Most people will probably tell you go sub for insert reson here n watch dub cus insert reason here. They are pretty close in my opinion. I flip back n forth from subs n dubs n i dont have any issues with them. People complain bout Asta’s yelling, they probably never grew up in an Islander family xD (the yelling calms down, just find your vibe n watch whichever you’re comfy with)
