This show is so…standard, basic, cliche, unthought provoking, and…FUCKING BORING!!! Am I the only one who dropped it after 3 episodes!! The writing is noticeably flawed and theres nothing for me to stay any longer, no…interesting characters, or themes. I watched it when I was a drumb kid and I still notice its flaws. Its very…mediocre. A few years later I start watching reviews and analysis videos on it and I finally realize ow bad this show is! There are some okay things like…early asuna, the black guy and kirito’s ex friend are all likeable! I like the costumes even thought they are really impractical. 2/10. Fucking boring.

While it looks to appeal to gamers, but as a gamer myself I find SAO not really that fun to be. Sure, as an anime SAO is stupidly popular and looks gorgeous but it fails to grab the essence of an MMO game. It’s not the game itself that is important but the community, the society, the people who play it. The main reason why such MMO is / was such an incredibly popular game genre in the first place. Since SAO never focused itself on that, I really don’t find the spectacle of the show. Rather than gamers, it might be more fitting that SAO appeals to people who want to experience being a wish-fulfillment character.

Nah I dont like the action. Theres no weight to them! The characters feel like theyre floating! Each hit feels like fucking nothing! Also, theyre pretty generic. Also, one of the “action” scene is just a still frame!! You know which one im talkin about.

When it is still airing, most of the anime community loved SAO. Yeah, even my non anime fans friends talked about it before. It is because of the Aincrad arc, ONLY. After the second arc and the other arcs started, IT BECAME SHITTY TRASH. SAO fans just be angry to me and to the other haters but it is the fact bro, it became a big disappointment. I just heard that even the writter himself said that his creation ruined because he didn’t plan to make it at all. If A-1 Pictures just focus in the Aincrad arc for a whole season, it will be better than the present one. BUT, I don’t really hate SAO. I never hate anime before even uptil now. I watched many anime better than this or maybe worse than this. For all SAO lovers and fans, if you watch different sort of anime, rewatch Sword Art Online. You will then realize how the author and the production team destroyed its potential. And for all anime fans out their (specially haters of some anime), its time for us to wake up from the fact that we are just fans, we are not the author/creator of every anime that we love or hate. We cannot change the fact that we are just watchers/readers of their works. Lets just support their hardwork and efforts just to give us what we want. If you are not yet satisfied about their work, JUST FUCKING DO YOUR OWN ANIME OR MANGA. You will know how hard to make one. All we need to do is just support and motivate every authors, creators, studios etc. about their work so that they can make some good ones that will satisfy ourselves.
