I love that conversation at the end yall wrong about Sasuke tho he loves Naruto that’s why he’s doing that. Even though I know whats going to happen at the end I’ve never felt like Sasuke Hated Naruto and the ending didn’t surprise me at all everybody’s like wow really. It’s the small stuff that he does says that maters. he doesn’t talk out loud like Naruto does everything is in head. the author didn’t let us see inside of him like that. That’s the difference between an introvert and an extrovert.

Shikamaru really is Naruto’s best friend, but Naruto created this bond with Sasuke from an early age, as after the Uchiha Massacre, Sasuke was just as lonely as Naruto, so Naruto believed they were connected because of that, and that thought only grew when they were together. on team 7! And about what you guys said, Sasuke recognized Naruto as his closest friend in the Valley of the End and thought of Team 7 as his new family at the end of OG Naruto, but after his encounter with Itachi when Akatsuki went after Naruto, Itachi said that Sasuke was still weak and to get stronger he needed to cut his ties, and in the flashback to the Uchiha Massacre Itachi said that he got his Mangekyou after he killed his best friend Shisui, so in the Valley of the End, Sasuke says that Naruto was his best friend, so he needed to kill him! Concluding, Sasuke did think that Naruto was his friend, and that was exactly why he tried to kill him.

Sasuke’s attitude isn’t so much directed against Naruto,its the ninja world and the pain it has caused. His thought process is deeper than people realize,we just don’t get to see it as outwardly. It’s like every1 didn’t understand Itachi’s way of thinking until fully revealed. Is a shame people don’t take the time to understand Sasuke. But that’s what happens when one characters life is hammered into your brain so much through unnecessary flashbacks and another’s isn’t. There’s a tendency to only see from that person’s perspective. As lonely as Naruto’s life may have seemed there where people that helped him get through the rough patches in his life.

Is funny,
When I saw Naruto a long time ago(Realy long time),
I had a pretty bad impression of Sasuke, but after rewatching it, it changed my impression of this relationship with Naruto.
I think one of the moments he was more open about his feelings was fighting Gaara, at that moment he asks for Narulo to take Sakura and get out of there because he won’t let any of his precious companions get hurt. It’s the first time he’s voiced that kind of feeling directly without talking bullshit about anyone. Like it’s the first time he’s really understood what he’s feeling.
It’s always good to remember that Sasuke didn’t belittle Naruto for free, it wasn’t one-sided, they both loved to provoke each other and talked shit about others XD. Sasuke only had the advantage because naruto was a clumsy goof. And Naruto is the kind of person who drags the introvert out of the cocoon without mincing words.
Things only got more complicated when he visited the uchiha shrine with the Sharingan for the first time and soon after that he was reunited with his brother…
