I’m sorry but I watched the anime in 3rd place but there was a lot left to be desired… first of all the way it ended there should have been a season 2. The anime itself had a good concept and could have been really good if it was just developed better. For example, in episode 1-3 the y explain how they have no idea how they got to this world and that they were forced into being soldiers. They mention how they say things that are “instinct” like “do I have my cell phone”. Though I understood what they were trying to do it wasn’t developed enough because after about episode 3, this “instinct” is never mentioned again. Now this is only the first 1-3 episodes. As you go on three the anime you feel like you are always waiting for something to really catch your attention. You really never get the “wow that was awesome”. Instead you have to wait till the last two episodes until you get something you actually might want to watch. But the thing is in the end it doesn’t follow ANYTHING that really was happening. I don’t want to spoil it but the main character randomly goes from level ten to one hundred and ten. Overall this anime if the most sad watered down version of sword art online if you really want to compare the two.
