Be careful what you build on your home island.

Items can’t be taken by ship without completing the story island.

Equip villagers with your latest weapons.

Always think about the option to fast travel.

Explore every nook & cranny on all islands.

Build multiple fireplaces.

Don’t be afraid to die.
8. 04:00 A Last-“Ditch” Effort
Build a ditch to keep monsters outside.
9. 04:25 Bedtime!
Always carry a bed with you.
10. 04:55 A valuable Resource
Seeds are the most important itams on this island.
11. 05:25 Talk to the Hand
Villagers that don’t talk to you might do it later.
12. 05:45 The Board of Spoilers
Beware of spoilers on the noticeboard.
13. 06:25 In-Game Contests
Be sure to participate at the contests.
14. 06:50 The early Bird…
Upload your build asap.
15. 07:35 Have a Heart
Hearts are useful to exchange them for items.
16. 08:05 So much Space!
The town limits have been increased.

Make good use of the gliding mantle.
18. 09:10 Hunter becomes the Haunted
Ghosts are afraid of light.
19. 09:55 Animal Cruelty
Watch out for monsters that want to eat your animals.

Unlock infinite building materials on material islands.

I pre ordered Dragon Quest Builders 2 and I want to play it when it comes to my house today but I have to beat Dragon Quest Builders 1 still first. I am currently on Chapter 2 and boy is it a long chapter. Been in that chapter for 10 or 15 hours so far.
It does get me more excited with each chapter I beat though seeing as I feel I made a very big achievement. After I beat Dragon Quest Builders 1 I am going to be headed to Dragon Quest Builders 2!!!

Hi, I’ve watched your video about making an elevator with magnet blocks, and I was curious… Ever tried making a building with an elevator inside instead of stairs? If you’re able to make shorter distance traveling version of the elevator

Hi I have a question about multiplayer – I keep hearing there’s only the Home Island (Isle of Awakening) for multiplayer but I understand in the Japanese version there are more? Such as Cultivation Island? If those are in Western version do how do you transport to the different islands with your friends, can you be on different islands while playing multiplayer (can I be on Isle of Awakening while friend is on my Cultivation island?) Thanks!

I beat the Japanese version of this game over last Christmas. It’s so great that I can now play it and understand the storyline.

Fall damage doesn’t kill you?!?! HOLY MOLES! I AM SO GLAD THAT WAS IMPLEMENTED!
I cannot tell how many times I f’king died from falling off a cliff in the original DQB because it was too high. The new "Drop to 1 HP from a high fall" is so much better! I cannot wait to play this game!

Why are you bothered? That’s the charm playing a new game. Finding good stuff to know. That’s why you have to RESTART the game and take that knowledge and you will do even faster and better. That’s what I do when I find stuff I didn’t know about it gives me motivation actually to start over. Do it right now! Who cares you spend 20 hours or 40 hours before. You can do better in new game

Gutes Video! Sag mal, kann man auf der eigenen Insel auch Monster platzieren (zB in gebauten Arenen etc.)?? Das wäre echt ein Kaufgrund, wenn man Charaktere, Monster etc. frei platzieren könnte 🙂 In einigen Fotos scheint es ja tatsächlich so! Danke für die Info

Can you do a video on how you hunt for chickens , strategy wise . I was only able to befriend 1 chicken , because so many enemies always near and they either run from them or me on angle that im on . That would be a great HELP ! And Thank you for you "let’s play " videos on Japanese version , I use them in times I get trapped or stuck on something . And Of Course HUGE Thank you for your tips and videos , really loving it !

Anyone know how to increase the village radius? I’m building rooms if it’s too far from the village (indicated by BGM change) they won’t touch it. Tilling crops will not happen, nor will wiggly turn the spoiled soil into earth

It’s really a great thing that we have the option of making a supply of certain materials infinite! I can’t count how many times I ran out of materials and have to grind for them back in the previous game!

if you’ve ever been stuck in the wilderness without the luxury of a bathroom, you’d appreciate creature comforts as small as an outhouse with toilet paper too! trust me on that. sometimes, camping sucks. ?

Maybe fall damage caps at 67. I am gonna try and recreate your jump. Edit: I am Lv 5 and have 44 HP, I jumped down the exact spot and took 66 Damage. Looks like you really don’t die anymore. But here is another tip to not take any damage at all, just do the glide attack. As far as i know, you take absolutely no damage doing it.

I love this game but im so upset that I kind of baited my friend who is so-so into dragon quest. I really thought you would be able to play co-op off the hop and go around and kill monsters….. still kind of stuck in the same area I heard you can unlock multiplayer later but man its so lame. I wanted to make a town with my friend so badly…

Playing the game and just got the information about exhausting seeds. I wonder wether using the hammer to get the seed back and then replanting will replenish the seed? ?

3:44 Is there a stupid death counter or something in this game? I have a serious case of OCD and seeing what I call "negative stats",such as how many times you’ve died, is infuriatingly annoying.

Hi! I have questions about npc’s. Besides cooking and fighting what else can they do? And, after finishing the campaign, they disappear? I have seen in your other vids that it’s just you and your party. And last, great vids! they relax me a lot and your buildings are really beautiful!

I have not had to plant my seeds more than once yet. I have gotten hundreds of cabbages off my first planting. Perhaps, the Switch port is superior with QOL improvements absent in the PS4 original. I have enough Grilled Greens for years.
