Full body haki is not a mind boggling feat. If you can reproduce the usage of armament haki 100% of the time you can also coat your entire body with it. Only problem is that you’ll use up more haki and stamina. It’s normally used as a last ditch effort. Top tiers should be able to use only the necessary haki it takes to defend and attack thus preserving strength. Vergo used full body but it’s because he was scared he would get cut by law’s haki+opop DF. Pica is in the same situation. He’s cornered and only way he loses is if he gets cut. If he hardens everything and doesn’t get cut, Pica wins. Too bad Zoro’s haki > Pica’s haki just like Law’s haki > Vergo’s haki. It doesn’t matter HOW MUCH haki you use. What matters is the quality of your haki. If your haki is stronger, you can coat something as small as your pinky and penetrate your enemy’s weaker haki defenses. The enemy can have a mountain sized body coated in a weaker level haki, but the stronger haki user always comes out on top. They may not be the undisputed winner since stronger haki doesn’t mean you’re 100% to win. It simply means you have the advantage in that you have the option to break your opponent’s defenses as well as defend yourself adequately.

Zoro blade’s ( except ryuma’s sword) become black because covered by haki, mihawk sword is naturally black because of blood same as ryuma’s katana
