Man I hope he doesn’t become a quirkless hero or became a Batman like hero I really don’t but I feel like he will get his quirk back or he’s gonna die and I really really hope that it’s not the later because he is my favorite character in the whole anime/manga and he definitely deserved OFA over Deku’s cry baby ass and don’t get me wrong i like Deku but compared to Togata it’s just not fair to Deku just how much of a better character/hero he is in my opinion and like I said I really like Deku he’s not my favorite but he’s definitely in my top ten maybe top 5 but that’s kinda a stretch lol

I think he will become like batman. Sir doesnt have physical quirk and fight with help of technological gadgets, Mirio can go the same way and for free. The tech support genius girl that used Iida to show of her gadgets would take advantage in this situation by sponsoring Mirio just to spread her name out there. Dont you think Chibi?

Its eri’s quirk, right? Eri is able to magnify quirks too right? I feel like it would make sense for eri to give him his quirk back. It would make sense, considering her quirk appears to go both ways.

Nah man, he’ll be the Nightwing as his personality fits the first son of Batman a lot more then it does the Bat himself.

You know basically Mirio and Izuku switch roles in a way. Izuku was the quirkless boy who even though he tried he wasn’t good enough, but was giving something form all might and had to make it his own and works hard everday. Mirio had a quirk all though it was "ass" he made into something and was recognize for it, even being the ideal successor for one for all. But now he lost everything and is quirkless. However I don’t see him stopping to become a true hero he is still top physical condition compare to most of the U.A students, but he won’t go as far as he could have.

The only thing I want is that Horikoshi makes Togata Deku’s sensei like Gran Torino was to All Might or something.. Basically be with Deku and his friends and enjoy his life 🙂

Tbh I don’t think him getting his quirk back is an impossibility–he may still get it back, but it’ll be much much later. This is just my general feeling becuase mirio’s defining moment in the internship arc was facing off against chisaki and tearing down overhaul’s logic / justifications by standing his ground in his own beliefs and people’s self accountability. Overhaul I’m 90% sure is neither dead or quirkless, shigaraki also took his cheat shots from him, which is more fuel to drive him to survive then disappear narratively. All three of them should be present by the end of the story for these loose ends to get tied up. So in the sense that chisaki is to mirio what shigaraki is to deku, and what AFO was to Yagi, mirio and chisaki needs to meet again and finish what was started. Whether that happens when mirio and Kai are ‘quirkless’ is less important then the fact they meet at all again, b/c there has to be a thematic tying up between them. it also doesn’t make sense to punish mirio with quirkless for life for failing Eri once, especially when chisaki has started on the track of seeing his own wrongs just as Eri has started her long journey to healing. Even though I would love to see mirio become something great regardless of his quirklessness, like quirkless hero/ vigilante/or even a good police investigator. I feel the author has different plans for him. And I’d say it’d make interesting writing that unlike the vicious physicality of overhaul and lemillion’s fight in the internship arc. That by the end of bhna, their conflict is concluded on a psychological emotional basis. This is not an attempt to say chisaki may be on a redemption arc or forgiven character wise like endeavour -just that it needs to be properly tied off, and I really think mirio has a role in that since he was the first one to really push chisaki out of his comfort zone and got the ball rolling ( because deku + Eri won by raw force, but the one who challenged chisaki and reminded him of his guilt was actually mirio-its why chisaki used his gun on togata, but not deku-on some level he was irritated/feared mirio tenacity and capacity in fighting for a better world more).
Eri as well may be present if/once she’s ready, and it may be with the meeting again of all three that mirio would finally get his quirk back.

Breaks my heart that there is no chapter this week, but Horikoshi is sick and needs her rest. I think its ironic how the final battle with the plaque doctor mafioso begins and Horikoshi gets sick.

Why did he jump in the way of the bullet ? i doubt it would do anything to Eri, after all it is made out of her blood also it would not kill her even if it did destroy her quirk

The element of being willing to make personal sacrifices to save people is kind of the essence of heroism. I wouldn’t say that it’s unhealthy or that it devalues a person in their own perception. It’s simply selflessness taken a step further, where a person believes that having the opportunity to save lives is worth risking their own. Honestly, this idea makes sense. Through this risk, they could have the opportunity to save dozens of people, if not more. It’s not that they see themselves as less important than the people they save, it’s more so that they see others as being just as important as they are, and thus are worth saving.

I know this is more of a copout theory, but if Eri’s quirk can be harnessed to remove quirks permanently, logically there should be some kind of ‘antidote’ that they can synthesise since the Yakuza had to work for ages to make it stronger and more potent? If we consider the serum he was injected with as a form of ‘venom’, couldn’t be given some kind of antivenom? Like I said, copout theory but I just want Mirio to be a hero

While not Batman, I see him being a police officer and end up becoming the My Hero Academia’s version of Commisioner James Gordon.
Working closely with the UA heroes he trained and studied with previously. For unlike other quirkless, he understands how they act and think, thus he could relate.

I wouldn’t mind Togata becoming a Green Arrow/Batman of Boku No Hero Academia. It would be cool for him to dropout of UA and then become a character in the Boku No Hero Illegals manga. He’s too much wasted potential or maybe he can be the Jim Gordon of the Boku No Hero Academia police force.
