Boruto Episode 74 & 75 one hour special features Mitsuki’s arc with Boruto, Sarada Uchiha, Shikadai, Cho-Cho & Inojin going to Ryuchi Cave where the great white snake sage lives. This is where Orochimaru and Kabuto tried to get Sage Mode. Anyways this is my opinion and the problem Boruto the anime has right now.

The first trial reminded me of that Underworld woman in Noragami. I’m pretty sure that first trial was based on that very same cultural reference, I was able to see right through that trial because of that reason as well as the fact that Ryuchi Cave looked way too sketchy, and was entirely centered around the food. In Noragami the woman trapped in the Underworld would convince her visitors to eat her food(which at first glance looks like food, but it’s actually disgusting stuff like centipedes and etc.) which would anchor/trap you into the Underworld once ingested, meaning it’s impossible to leave under any circumstances. Gods can only leave because they are reborn in their shrine after every death(as long as they are considered relevant).
The second and third trials were the outright bad ones, I could also say that the only reason why the trials were so easy is because of how selfish and impatient the snake women were. If they left it to be entirely puzzle based much like ABD said, the scenario would have lasted much longer meaning the show would take longer to move on. Such a suggestion is a double-edged sword as people hate long fillers/filler-esque mini-arcs. Returning to my claim that the snake women are impatient, they made their move Boruto and his party first which allowed them to find it sooner than anyone else. From my memory, the other people who tried to find Ryuchi Cave were never approached by a third party.
The scenario seemed rushed to potentially push an intense scene such as the reverse-scaled snake encounter in order to engage interest in the filler again. With that being said, the fact that two episodes were made available within the same day proves that this filler is getting dragged on unintentionally. I argue that we should bare with them as they try to bridge the gap to the major plot point(s).
I do agree with the claim that Orochimaru probably contacted the Snake Sage in advance, I also do feel that Kabuto could have helped Boruto with Mitsuki’s snake. But considering Orochimaru, he would intentionally push the cast to go to Ryuchi Cave for a weird reason.

My opinion with the character chocho it would be better if they made chocho a boy, i mean i can’t imagine what look would she be when she grown up.(And i really can’t believe that woman who beats naruto to a pulp became chojin’s wife, i shipped her with that lollipop guy gezz!) My shipped that worked were only ino and sai, temari and shikamaru. Only two.. yeah right.. so great! They don’t even want to reveal who is lee’s wife isn’t it obvious that tenten is his wife? Look at metal’s eye, they have the same eyes argh!!

The biggest problem with Boruto to is that they took a world in which all 5 of the big governments formed a lasting and strong bond with each other in winning the 4th great Ninja war. And expect people to believe in 15 to 20 years at most a group of people built enough power to defeat these 5 great nations creating stupid a pretty unbelievable enemy and trying to create a new world saving hero that most people was not necessary . I wanted the Boruto manga and anime to be a little more lighthearted and be about solving small problems not some convoluted but by the first episode/ chapter showing us that Naruto is gonna die or is sealed away somewhere but most liley dead. They ruined 700 chapters and 700 plus episodes of material for something that through 75 episodes is pretty stale and cliche.

I know the writer said that baruto will become stronger than naruto and i canf digest that, not until im shown a strong reason behind his power
Its not like he trains 24 hours a day, and its not like tailed beast passes to kids

I thought the room with the jem puzzle had a lot of meaning when I watched the episode, I think it the point of it was to see how you tried to get out, you fail if you attack/kill the girl or try use jutsu to escape. After all, you need patience for sage
As for the food part, that was to weed out those who thought with just instinct and didn’t think things through like how it could be poisoned or just didn’t care out of hunger. Like he said before it should taken them way longer to get there if it hadn’t been for orochimaru saying that they were coming, he probably gave them a head start because most were probably left out there trying to find it until starving or so much that they’d most likely eat the food or dead from having no food and water

These were still better than the chocho arc. I honestly hope if they kill someone off in the time skip or before that it’s her or inojin. Anyone ever teach these kids about ninja seeing through deception? You’re really gonna accept random food in the middle of nowhere from a stranger and proceed to get more when Boruto reminds you both where you guys are and things aren’t gonna be what they seem?

it’s very disappointing though their direction that anime is going in also I don’t see the point in all these extra characters being added the only person I really wanted to see there boruto I would like to see him on a journey by himself grow but no they always make it him admission to add every single character they can in to see and it’s annoying I just won’t borrow till by himself sometimes I like to see characters grow individually to a certain extent.

I feel like this weeks episode dropped drastically because of the business problems its having right now with the Studio Drop. The Studio Drop has filed for bankruptcy, the man power too has decreased, the pay is also low for them, and with the problems Japan is having right .I wouldn’t have a doubt about it that the anime has dropped because of this .

I too also noticed how disrespectful it was to the original when boruto and the others easily reached Ryuichi Cave and was passing trials like spelling tests…especially when grand tales from Orochimaruu and Kabuto hyped the hell outta that place…For God’s sake, the power Kabuto got from that cave enabled him to battle against Sasuke & Itachi AT THE SAME TIME

This episode was pretty good imo. First of all its stupid to complain about the snake sage not biting him etc because it already knew that he had no intention of learning safe mode, and that’s only the test it uses to give people sage mode. And of course they got there faster than usual, they knew exactly where we’re going. They must have gotten directions from Oro, who’s likely been there more than once before.
