The end of evangelion is better. Original is way more better. Because really when it first came out, its pretty scary and eerie like dude. Not ever before and man oh man. Ive still yet to find that kind of anime that creeps me out and this one still does. But anyway the monsters thatre trying to lilith and adam is crazy and of course with the dad of the year, shinjis dad (forgot his name) had created them i think issuing the dna from Adam n lilith i think. Which is what those robot monsters those kids are in are. Idk its crazy. Something like that. You gotta really watch it to understood and try to piece em somewhat together

Honest to god I’ve watched around 10-15 animes my entire life but decided to watch Neon Genesis EVA and EoE last week (since it’s on netflix) and all I can say is I’ve never had such a profound reaction too a piece of medium, anime or movies. I’m not gonna pretend I fully understand the ending, but that’s the beauty of it I think, you get what need out of it; thats why shits so debated.
Truest thing I’ve heard so far is “if don’t understand Eva, you’re just not sad enough”. Im really not a sad boi but Eva has literally made me rethink so so many things. I get the memes but shit is fucking profound.
