Have you guys seen the fight scene of mikazuki at ep 7 of Katsugeki/touken ranbu? and the finale episode of that anime. I think those fight scenes should be on the list. Plus alter saber vs berserker in heaven’s feel II.

Black clovers Effects and art style becomes simple and easy to read when they go into hyper fight mode. It’s what makes it so good, rather than focusing on sorounding which is not what Black clover is about. The animators focus on the characters.
Though, there are tons of anime scenes that are better than this.
Saitama vs Boros for example, the fight was just so rich and right, every punch and kick felt so damned real that the goosebumps became something more.
Tanjiro vs Lower Moon for example had one of the most emotional fightscenes that I’ve watched next to No Game No Life: The Movie which literally made me cry.
Boruto the Movie final fight scene just looks so good, they kept the momentum up and the pacing just right that it gave me shivers watching the dou fight the white guy.

Although I admit the animation in GoH was good, but damn, they kinda ruined the anime… Especially the fight between Mori in Sun Wukong Mode and Jegal was better in the webtoon, it shows how one-sided and quick the fight really is, and that’s how it should be, since someone who only swallowed up a bunch of weaklings and the Key, not even mastering it yet, cannot compare to a warmongering God who battled Heaven’s Army all on his own

Actually the fate one kinda looked trash. I could barely understand what the hell was even happening. The paintbrush style for an entire fight is BAD. Take it from black clover when Asta activated his black form for the first time. Paintbrush style needs to be used selectively. Best example for it is haikyuu when oikawa was serving, mad dog’s intro smash, tsuki’s first block against bokuto.

I started Black Clover and I’m on ep 74. So far there’s only been like 5 really good fight scenes. The rest is pretty garbage. I’m only watching because so far I like the story and I read it takes awhile to get good. But can someone confirm that the animation actually gets better?
