I wish someone would put the scene where Shinji bursts out of Leiliel on their list. That’s the moment that literally had me shaking, in episode 16, when I knew the show would be turning from worse to *even worse*

The best funny moment was the "thermal expansion" scene. Asuka wonders if her breasts will get bigger if they are warm and psyches Shinji out.

You’ve gotta give props to Spike for the English dub of no. 5. Feel like he made that scene epic with his dub work for 2.0.
Pretty solid list. I would have thrown an honorable mention to Unit 1 breaking up the Dirac sea angel. The shot of it crashing to the ground while blood literally rains down around it still looks amazing

They forgot the scene where EVA-01 is controlled by the dummy plug and utterly wrecks the EVA that got taken over by an Angel, and then Shinji finally finds out who the pilot is when the pull him out of the wrecked entry plug and sees it was one of his first friends
