Japanese reboots are def masterpiece, they have their own charm as well.
And hey, once I started appreciating anime I did my own research about this amazing man.
I personally prefer Dororo’s reboot because the story has more depth to it.
Also, Americans ripped off so much from Kimba with the story of The Lion King, Osamu Tezuka deserves to be credited and so disappointed how that doesn’t get addressed until now :'<

I heard all about Dororo, but only decided to watch it after doing some research on it and finding out the amazing history about the author. I started watching it yesterday and finished ep. 21 today. I LOVE THIS ANIME. New favorite.

nah i just binged the whole thing after waiting. it’s awesome and i love how they’re interpreted Hyakkimaru to drive his moral development as the story progress. My main problem is that it’s only legally available in Amazon prime and their subs suck.
I LOVE tezuka! Astroboy is my all-time favorite super hero and i really love watches series when the main character faces adversity.
I also love Black jack ( and young black jack but not as much).
