Hey Chibi, 2 things I want to mention:
1- About Villan development: Lets be reasonable here, to be a Hero, you don’t need to has a sad past, nor a valid reason, you just need to care about people or something like this. But to be a Villain they need to have some kind of trauma or crazy mindset, and to have that, they need to have some twisted past.
2 – About Shigaraki power: You can see, by the end, he take the artificial hand thing with the five fingers, so or he can indeed deactivate his powers, or my favorite theory, this hands is made in a way he can use without disintegrate it, and the one who made this is All For One. And I think he kill his parents as a infant, and he live by himself in his early days, and the one who save him is All For One (nobody saw that coming)

Shigaraki is quite tragic really. The reason hes like this is because when he was a child, he was in a situation where no one saved him. people that where their just walked by and left him their, cuz they thought a hero will come and save him, but not a single hero was able to make it their and save him. Which ultimately broke him as scared him as a child

What was crazy to me about Shigaraki was that during his personality switch friendly conversation with Midoriya, the threat of that middle finger clenching was always a constant. I was thinking like this dude could accidentally clench down at any moment.

My theory is that Shigaraki did not kill his parents but instead killed the murderer who did, thus deteriorating himself into a being a murderer himself while having a grudge against All Might who didn’t save his parents while everyone celebrates All Might to be the one who always saves the day. BTW Big Fan Chibi.

Shigaraki has found the base for his belief. But he is still searching for his own belief or creed. His belief is not so deep and clear like the Hero Killer’s is. Shigaraki has a long way to go

It seems like the reason that Shigaraki hates All Might is because Shigaraki came into a situation where he needed to be saved, but All Might, the hero that everyone looks up to, never came and helped him. If you look closely, there is a panel in this chapter where a boy/person is standing above a dismembered hand on the the floor. All Might was never there for him. "It’s always All Might."It looks like the hand has just been cut off. That, and with Izuku’s whole "is there anyone you couldn’t save?" question seems to mirror this theory.
