At this point, just expect late night uploads. I’m a huge night owl, so this is how I roll. Also, I am clearly going through a Zoro phase because I’ve been thinking about him a lot, making him thumbnails, shoehorning him into my life, and fangirling about what he does in the chapters as of late. Not that I’m complaining, but it’s a nice change from my nearly constant Sanji obsession (Sanj still my #1, but it’s nice to have some variety sometimes k)
I went through another huge Fleetwood Mac binge listen a few weeks ago (they are the BEST) and started thinking….what? How? Have I not??? Done something with one of their songs??? I had a hard time deciding for FM so I just went with this Stevie Nicks remix instead. Rock is kind of hard to edit with if it doesn’t have steady, clear beats that blow my eardrums out when editing (at least for me) so I grabbed this remix of Edge of Seventeen (any school of rock fans up in here??). It had like 800 views or something small on YT and I was like…..this is perfect. I cut out the terrible parts, and though the original is still WAY better, I like how this turned out. It’s different from my norm, and I c a n t b e p u t i n a b o x o k?? I wanted to try different so here this is.
LMK if the shakes were too much. This was more a test run of different things than anything. New music, new voicelines, new shakes and blurs and whatnot. Not really at all a theme here….don’t really know wtf this is supposed to be but oh well!!! I hope it’s somewhat all right! I was just hyped about One Piece again what with Wano being amazing and this, I guess, was the result.
May not edit for a bit after this, though. I have a collab coming out with an editor friend of mine probably sometime during April, and maybe another collab if I finish that in time, but I really need to keep up with my studies and get my life together for a bit. I have stuff planned that I’m really excited about, but I probably will be posting less frequently for a while. Doing one a week/every two weeks is kind of exhausting and, while fun, it kind of makes me enjoy it less if I feel the need to hit deadlines. I know that’s a little nuts of me to say because I don’t owe anyone anything and y’all have been nothing but perfect and supportive always, but I do want to please people a little too much sometimes (old habits die hard). So, I’m gonna probably be taking longer gaps between edits. Hope that’s aight

FIRST OF ALL: congratulations for your 1000k subs achievement. This is Great and I’ve Always known you had talent in amv-editings. Probably you found your style too, which is great in combining both lyric songs and voiceovers from the anime. Gorgeous result….And about your phase with Zoro. Just consider my state xD. I did watch this the first day it came out ;-; but this weekend was just hectic so I couldn’t respond right away and this week will be even more so finally got that little resting period

Definitely not really shaking that much, for me it’s just the right amount for the beat/tone of the song
I haven’t heard that many fleetwood mac songs D: but the few I have heard were amazing, so good for you testing out new music genres
I also relate so hard for Zoro haha, he has me swerving all over my lane for Law (who I saw quite a bit of in this amv, thank you for that T-T)
the man is killing it in recent chapters no matter the complaints that he was nerfed or whatever
honestly to me, it’s true that Zoro has been through way worse injuries and not fainted
thing is
he’s been eating/drinking nothing but poisonous food and water that would normally kill someone and he’s been doing this since before luffy arrived from WCI so it probably just caught up to him along with the injury

I love you and deeply appreciate your work and I’m always excited to see it, but yes, as you said, you shouldn’t have to feel obligated to any deadlines, we’ll be fine with whenever you have the time and energy to post
I’m literally the same way, always trying to please people and running myself into the ground, resulting in my friends always yelling at me about it, so I feel you, which in turn makes me more concerned
definitely take the time to sort things out and keep up with school, but also remember to take some well earned breaks, getting things back together can be really overwhelming so take those breaks and try not to overstress b <3
