it feels like boruto is often forgotten until he’s relevant for plot reasons. Though I can see what they are trying to do, (fleshing out characters) he’s just kinda there sometimes because he’s the MC.

nigga boruto fucking sucks…relative to the best of Naruto that is. Anyway im disappointed in the direction they took with the show. Boruto didnt pick up the slack from the terrible last arc of Shippuuden if anything it got worse besides the few good moments of boruto. im just annoyed at the direction they took the cannon. it already got weird at the end of Naruto but boruto is taking the same "weird" route as the end of Naruto. but I do like the slight drama between Naruto and baruto but why did they have to boruto so fucking OP.

I disagree about the justification for hand to hand combat in Naruto vs Sasuke. Their fight is about so much more than just killing each other. They want to know who the greater Shinobi is on every level. The opening hand to hand combat scene shows sasuke forcing naruto to result to Jutsu first. It’s like Sasuke scored a point on Naruto, even if he lost the fight in the end.
I find their pride as a much more compelling justification for the fistfight than the 6th or 7th character to use “I suck in jutsu so now you gotta use your kicks”

Hey can u talk about how strong itachi would be if he had eternal ms. Let’s just say he and sasuke’s swapped eyes at some point, and the new acquired power cured itachis sickness. How strong would itachis genjutsu be, I think it will be op. Also, his complete Susano would be unstoppable since he would have the shield and sword, he could spam Amaterasu and those tomo shuriken. I’d love to hear ur thoughts

Something that deserves to be mentioned here is that the animators that made this episode possible are almost entirely foreign animators that have never worked with studio pierrot, meaning that they aren’t the same people from the boruto movie and, just to mention, for some of them this is the second, SECOND time working on the anime industry OR EVEN THE FIRST FOR SOME OF THEM. ok I’m done ranting this episode was beautiful and Chenxi Huang’s direction and the animators he hired, everything that he arranged for the fighr sequences was so over the top AGHHHH.

I really liked the fight scene, but I was really put off by the fact that Boruto was able to maintain/control Naruto’s SuperOmegaRasengan. That thing was the size of Ichiraku, the fact that he’s able to maintain all that chakra with such fine control, without seeming fatigued at all, just makes him seem like a Gary Sue (which is an issue with most of the new generation tbh). But idk maybe he used his special space eye I dont watch the show. At least it was well-directed.
