dude be connecting the dots super fast its almost unreal. I kind of predicted Zeke to be the Beast titan around the same time, but have absolutely no clue about the smiling titan. He makes judgements based on appearance alone and super accurate? In anime appearance can be a fuzzy thing to make predictions on. First annie and now zeke mom? wow!

Vikings were both men and women. They didn’t need to rape and pillage to procreate. As much as they were raiders, they were also mercenaries, traders, and shepherds. Some Viking societies focused more on raids and mercenary work, some more on trading, and some more on sheep herding.

People inside the wall doesnt have the idea that other people was living outside the wall because its impossible on their perspective. They never saw the ocean. All they know was Titan was outside.

I just wanna mention since you brought it up again that The Village (spoiler) is NOT about a government experiment. It’s about a "cult" who decide to live secluded, medieval lives cutting themselves off from society founded by people who have lost faith in normal society (most because losing family members to incompetence, negligence or criminal violence). That’s exactly why it’d such a threat if they got discovered since what they are doing is very much illegal given that they ignore their legal obligations and mess with the rights, opportunities and self-perception of their children. The forest reserve (and even the security around it) are owned by a firm of one of their senior members (OR their dead parents, it is not quite made clear) and is kept a secret officially. Again, because it wouldn’t actually be legal to do it.

The little titan is the "peering titan." If you go back to 11:37, he was the guy to your right of Grisha. Has the same expression and everything. And yes, Dina went straight for Grisha’s house when she came through the gate, even passing up the three traitors, in their human forms, as she went. It’s spooky that Dina lived up to her word and looked for Grisha, only to find her replacement, Carla. We all know what happened after that.

Actually grisha has no idea eldians were the good guys in history, he said things to other patriots but isn’t even sure as he said, he doesn’t even know how to read ancient writings, every side thinks he is right, noone is lying they truly believe it, and that’s what is interesting, there is no good or bad people in this show, even marley’s reaction toward eldiens is understandable, I mean, who would trust people who can turn into gigantic monsters and destroy everything?

1. I had no idea that you were so similar to me, loving sociology xD That’s so cool. (Got any ideas how one may out that to good use, other than going into politics or becoming a writer or something like that?)
2. There are some lines cut from the anime for time with Sergeant Major Gross, like where he says he didn’t just feed Faye to the dogs but had his sons watch. "Thanks to that they my sons were able to become upstanding young men" he claims. There’s this idea that introducing children (especially in a semi militaristic society like Marley) to death early will give them an advantage in life. So it’s not just self-serving cruelty but more like an ideology passed on and stuff.
Also, Ishiyama made sure (and even requested it from the animation crew) that Gross will look at the audience while saying
"Peace can be a wonderful thing, but something is missing about it, like being in touch with life and death perhaps?"
So Gross is us, watching an anime about people getting eaten alive. :p We also enjoy our peace, but like watching fictional people die and struggle for their lives, to keep us in touch with our own mortality.
