Now that the April Fools is coming to an end, I’ll be going over this not-so-little project that we made for the past couple of months, bringing you the fictional Sword Art Online: The First Day trailer!
Kirito has returned… to when it all began! Sword Art Online: The First Day TV Anime Special Episode has been announced, taking us all the way from War of Underworld, back to the first day of Aincrad where Kirito meets another Beta Tester, Coper, where they chase after the prized quest reward, the Anneal Blade!

Sword Art Online Progressive Volume 1 (ใฝใผใใขใผใใปใชใณใฉใคใณ ใใญใฐใฌใใทใ ๏ผ๏ผ๏ผ) is the first volume of the “Progressive” spin-off light novel series by Kawahara Reki that expands upon the Aincrad Arc of the main series. The first volume consists of two stories covering the 1st Floor and 2nd Floor of Aincrad respectively, namely Aria of a Starless Night and Rondo for a Fragile Blade.
The website was copied over from the Progressive website and asset flipped into the First Day Skin by Celest. We changed a bunch of stuff to fit in with the First Day narrative, but overall wanted to maintain uniformity, as the goal was to pose the First Day as a Prequel to the events of Progressive: Aria of a Starless Night. The Key Visual was drawn by Vyh, inspired by the official illustration by abec in the First Day side story! Took quite a long time to get this done, in fact, it was completed ~2 days before release, so we had to rush a bit with the final trailer render and the website. But as you can imagine, having no original animation power in our hands compared to the incredible gods of A-1 Studios and the SAO Project, a solid Key Visual was our centerpiece for this project and we hope you like the poster! SAO Progressive is not a new arc, but rather is an expansion of the Aincrad Arc of the SAO series. SAO Progressive Aria of a Starless Night will be in theaters in Fall 2021!
Sword Art Online: The First Day is a side story written by Reki Kawahara and published in SAO Volume 8: Early and Late, which takes place shortly after Kirito abandons Klein and heads towards the Town of Horunka to chase after the Anneal Blade quest. The story was originally cut by the Anime Adaptation, which led to the creation of Aria of a Starless Night to be featured as Episode 2.

Dang you also got me in that trailer but you forgot one thing, that one thing is that mother’s rosario episode is not in the trailer therefore this trailer is fake. That’s what i thought to the trailer
