But would you look at the time! Yes, it’s time for me, to bring you fine people of the internet the content presented on the novels and skipped on the anime for this episode! As usual, these are NOT spoilers, and you can check older videos for more info! So here we go!
> They actually changed the name of the ship escorting the Ocean Turtle from Nagato to Asahi, that is due to the novel been written before the construction of the Asahi-class ship, so they changed to better reflect the current Japanese Navy power.
> During the conversation between the girls and the Lieutenant, he told them the tomato they were eating was grown atop the ocean turtle as they try to make the facility self sufficient, probably that explains the close up on the tomato.
> Kirito was very worried his sword would break any second, after using his Enhance Armament twice and fighting a bunch of knights his weapons durability was coming to and end and would shatter, that is why he immediately returned his sword to the scabbard (in order to restore its life points) and never used it during the climbing again.
> "Why didn’t he reused the metal bars instead of creating new ones?" That is a fair question! Here, let us return to episode one, remember the reason for why the kids went to the end mountains? To get ice so their food would last longer, similar to Aincrad and the other seed generated worlds, things have two states, either functional or broken. But one cannot tell if said thing will break or just vanish by looking at it, the life value of the metal bars he created were very short indeed and could not hold both Kirito and Alice for very long. Minus the ones created from Alice’s gauntlet, that one was top quality as Kirito noticed after she gave them to him.
> The reason why Alice could not climb on her own is actually open to interpretation somewhat, and goes to show how Knights can’t follow orders or ideas out of what they were told to do by Administrator, she could not follow Kirito’s idea of climbing, but she could do nothing and be lifted, it was a workaround of sorts.
Before we finish, would like to mention the opening and why it has "Rising" on it, and for that matter why the first one had "Beginning." Each one of the Alicization books are called: Sword Art Online: Alicization "something", the first book was called Beginning for it was the beginning of the journey. I actually thought they would change the name every time they reached a new book but… well that never happened. The second Alicization book is called Running as the story is flowing and the world is running its course, followed by Alicization Turning as the things kinda turn upside down with Eugeo breaking the Taboo Index. Finally we reached Rising, and it’s called that because the boys are rising trough the tower, this episode marks the start of Alicization Dividing, for well, you guessed Kirito and Eugeo are separated.

What you said in 7:50 about the swords is true, in the anime is not explained but in the LN is told that the swords were losing their "hp" every second, and they had to hurry Up because their swords could break as soon as they lose their hp. Kirito was the one who realized it in the novels.
