You believe the show is good other believe is not good but hasn’t problems not joining the stupid Clan the blood host nights and the gear is so non blending are you serious at least they have greensward purple armor what gauntlets legs and orange leg armor together I was hoping you would have white and red instead of having orange and yellow dark blue and teal gray and yellow purple wedding Gray and a green sword

The biggest mistake is focusing solely on a single character while cramming a time span of years into only 14 episodes. Most of the 14 episodes is filled with boring exposition and absolutely nothing that SAO does well. The fight scenes are awesome but everything else is pretty lame by comparison.We never really feel any sense of attachment to any of the characters and when Asuna isn’t playing house she is a tsundere bitch. Add to that the fact that Kirito is the least likable character in the entire series this show has some major problems.Well he is the least likable character in the series until the introduce Mr. Rapeface, but that just goes to show how far they have to go to make Kirito likable in comparison. That in itself is saying a lot. I actually watched this show until Mr. Rapeface was introduced. That’s when it finally became intolerable to me.
SAO has beautiful animation, music and fight scenes and a great premise however everything else about the show sucks. Once you get passed how nice it looks and sounds you realize just how bad everything is.

Dimensional Warrior armor equip dimensional Katana equip here’s the thing this anime has a few problems it has in singles a interesting story the character is weird he’s too easy to Aunt too anything his abilities no player has and I should really hate on your view you don’t wear mixed colored armor I would like to blend together with white and red dye makes sense not having unlimited armor same problem in Destiny two or more different colors different variants different details looks better

This is the most ambitious presentation of a review series I’ve seen for awhile. You guys stick to your strengths as usual and make the look of SAO world within the review fun and engaging. More so than I would’ve done.
Reviewing presentation aside, your critiques is super refreshing (NEXT to theNSCL’s review of same series) to see a much more level-headed view of this series. While others are kinda raging/mean-spirited, or burned by the disappointing conclusions of both seasons or the hype.
Your feelings towards the series reflect how I felt. Everything has an interesting premise on paper, there’s so much potential and ideas but everything is executed so poorly in many places, making me feel at first excited to disinterested with sword art as a whole.
Looking forward to SOA II.

The dimensional Warrior these claims are true this anime is kind of bad characters but interesting in some ways a broker a player who has access to certain abilities weapons a sword not added to the breaker handbook

I’ve never been an SAO fan, but I can always appreciate your reviews, man. You put a lot of work into your videos even though you don’t have a massive audience and that goes a long way, so kudos. Hopefully part 2 won’t come out 5 months from now 😉

Lizbeth yeah I liked her too I mean she’s a f****** blacksmith couldn’t have kept her on as the one constantly upgrading keratos equipment all this s*** to keep her relevant. And of course egal are big black best girl LOL he could have easily been the shopkeeper cure toe gets most of the shift from at least keep them relevant in that regards I’ve seen games do that to like say the devil Summoner games.

i never claim SAO is the best anime, but that doesn’t mean is a bad anime overall, in fact, i like SAO, the whole thing EVEN the ALO arc, i recognize has it’s good moments and flaws just like every other anime, can’t we just agree is just a good anime?

Pretty incredibly video in terms of presentation and animation quality. The review itself is really solid too as I’m not always very critical of what I watch, so while I do like SAO (Basically cutting out the ALO stuff as being kinda "eh" for the story), it does clearly have a number of issues. Look forward to the next part.
