Boruto so far is boring af. The only interesting part was the Sarada arc. Like what? 5-6 cap? So far 43 episodes and 90% suck. It doesn’t go anywhere. Idk I just think it’s a flop. Unless they decide to bring naruto characters back to mix and spice things up.

Nah, Like first I was a skeptic and all…But there is a lot of promise in Boruto, there is so much more room for character development then in the previous that it isn’t even funny. most notably Boruto and Cho cho. Plus, in the previous episode they actually hinted to their being a civil war so, just be patient.

I think it’s been fine thus far. If it’s this quality when they become Ninja, then I’ll start to complain. They’re just academy students, so epic plot lines aren’t really the point yet.

Mei became the Mizukage when the village was fucked up because of Yagura (under the control of Obito though) and his barbaric/bloody rule. She tried to fix Kirigakure’s diplomatic relations with other villages as well as bring back the village to its former self. I think what they meant in this episode is that Kirigakure REALLY started to flourish under Chojuro’s rule because not only is he a good Mizukage (I’m assuming he is) but the ninja world has entered and era of peace, meaning it’s much easier for him to fix the village from within.
I don’t think Mei was a bad Mizukage. During the Five Kage Summit, she seemed the most peaceful and level-headed kage along with Gaara. In-fact she even defended Gaara when Ohnoki tried to undermine him because he was young at that time.

Cut her some slack.
I this has been the best filler arc so far, that ghost shit was BORING and they dragged it on. At least I get to see how the other villages are doing.

Boruto’s been meh lately, but it’s still under the shadow of the 4th Ninja War where Naruto was supposed to be brought peace to the ninja war and all that bullshit. They can’t rush into this. So I’m kinda enjoying seeing how regular life in their world is, though at the same time it doesn’t exactly make for exciting material. Yet that is what Boruto eventually has to become about.
It’s such an odd position. And that’s why you never end a story with "happily ever after" if you ever plan to actually continue it.

Kagura isnt a jinchuriki, because in the sakura novel its said that the last 7 tailed beast are roaming the earth and they sometimes meet inside of naruto because he still posses some of their chakra

Mei (think thats how its spelled) did mention how it wasn’t Blood Mist anymore back in Naruto (kage conference or war, one of the 2). So i think she wasn’t generally a shitty Kage, although she seemed pretty weak in comparison to others, but her claim to fame is that she was the one in power that started to interact peacefully. Chojiro was the one that modernized the village though, so thats why he’s known as someone who’s done alot for it. Even Zabuza kind of mentioned that it wasn’t the Blood Mist village anymore.

it would have been better if the field trip was more like a training session with the mist academy. after all in the previous episode naruto was talking about having the villages train, learn from each other, and learn to work together to prepare for a new threat that shows up. this feels more like a vacation or a tour. especially with the hotel and shopping. i think boruto will be a great series if they focus on the idea that the next gen should keep the world peaceful by hunting down rogue ninja, revealing conspiracies (plots to assassinate kages, plots to create war, plots to control etc), and countering terrorists (like deidara) and vengeful people who can’t accept the peace.
