When I watched this ep like months ago the part of the person getting eat by multiple Titans is the scariest thing in the series. It also gave me nightmares

No regrets ova isn’t that copyrighted.. There are many reaction videos of it on YouTube. But even if that’s the case, you can upload just some cuts of it or even upload it on Google drive for YouTube community.. we don’t mind if it’s super late compared to patreon as long as we get it too in the end. It’s just so disappointing that you decided to make them patreon exclusive, been waiting for them since you started reacting to aot ?

I advise you watch attack on titan on funimation or hulu as the subtitles are much better, for example the time they called the female titan a He as well as calling Hanji Sir, Funimation subtitles also will help you understand the show MUCH better than before.

You really should watch the first OVA before you continue watching the show. The other OVAs don’t add pretty much to the understanding of the story, and are more optional.

I remember watching this episode for the first time…
I was like “damn i really like this Mike dude. He has a fun personality, good looks, and that nose ability was so cool. Top it all off, he was said to be second only to LEVI.” I was really invested into his character
….then the episode said “hey…fuck you”

Mike would still not be able to survive should him communicate with the Beast Titan.
We can see that when Beast Titan first saw Mike, he grabbed the horse and threw it to him. Yeah. The beast Titan was in intention to kill Mike. So there is no way Mike could survive even they "communicate"to each other.

• a food competition; Jean character development. I’d say it’s good to give it a watch; they reference it in the next season
• the trainees go on a mission to test their teamwork abilities. They run into bandits. Not totally necessary, but good character development; and it’s nice to see all the trainees interacting again, especially Marco?
• *MUST WATCH FOR THIS SEASON* Hange discovers an abnormal titan and a mysterious diary. *YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS BEFORE CONTINUING THIS SEASON, IT’S CRUCIAL*

Thank god you didnt have to experience the pain of waiting years to get the next episode. Season 2 is amazing, but a lot of the hype does down because of how long the wait between seasons was. Season 2 is sick as hell

At that point of the episode, my guess why they should keep that Titan out of sunlight is either
1. Titans does not move at night when they don’t get sunlight.
2. "Keep it out of sunlight" means cover it up and do not let the public know

It’s okay to be confused with AOT’s story but only in a good way, you get confused but you know there’s a meaning or an explanation of it, but you just keep saying "it doesn’t make any sense" "that’s random" like talking about the walls you didn’t even question how they were built, they’re three massive walls that would take hundreds of years to build them in a world like AOT, and how they did get to build them without being attacked…so when a Titan appeared inside it you said "that’s random"..???
Sorry but you really should think more, don’t get me wrong, but it’s just because you somehow convey the idea of belittling AoT’s plot, you just need to be patient, think more, and theorize stuff until you get to learn an explanation for some mysteries.

I guess the death was so prologued because this was the first episode of the season 2 who was released after 4 almost 5 years since season 1 ended.
They must have been feel like they must throw the house by the window.
And because that guy, Mike, was really relevant to other characters. He was like the best man Erwin had, besides Hange and Levi.
Just to put how important Mike was, he was left in charge of all the 104th cadet promotion, where Erwin himself thinks there are the other titans (that is why all the 104th promotion was there, without permission to train, change cloths or put gear).
I mean, Mike faced 9 titans by himself… and he only died because of the shock of seeing the beast titan.
