I’ve seen Erwin’s line at the end translated as both "What/Who do you think the enemy is?" Don’t know which is actually correct or more accurate.

Hange is female. The sir is just formal. Fun Fact: Her gender is undetermined in the manga. Fans just identified her as female however

You should rewatch most of the episodes for this season. Remember that this anime is plot heavy. Every tiny details, dialogues, etc. are very, very important. Most are pivotal, so better pay attention since the people watching your videos are expecting much from you, that’s what i believe.

Erwin asked Eren that question because Eren has only ever seen Titans as the end all and be all of their enemies, but Erwin’s implying their enemies here are NOT Titans, that’s all. He’s saying this in response to the mystery of the two Titans they’ve been experimenting on being killed, suggesting there’s a saboteur running around messing with them for some reason.

The creator of AOT actually said that Hange’s gender is not known in the series. But in the anime she has a woman figure which is odd

It’s actually up in the air what gender Hange is. The manga has never mentioned it and he or she is only ever refered to by gender-neutral pronouns in Japanese. The art is also rather inconclusive and could go either way.
The anime seems to lean more toward the feminin side though, in no small part due to the female voice actor, but I don’t remember any outright confirmation either way… not in Japanese anyway. I’m pretty sure in the english dub they settled for making Hange a female… but then they even changed the titan’s roars to something more like squeeling… for some reason.

Hange is a genderless character in the manga but seems to be adapted as a female in the anime. You could call Hange either she/her or they/them. Also the way you pronounce Hange is correct, it’s even spelled Hanji in Japanese.

Hange is truly a unique character! It’s like the author tried hard to create a stereotypical mad scientist but ended up with someone who is both terrifying and hilarious, over the top but also deep when it comes to her passion. She was never just a comic relief and she brings out all sorts of emotions from us, she’s smart, determined and clearly a bit insane, this cruel life sure has affected her, but she defends an essential point of view in this story. And Romi Park (her voice actress) also does a unique job portraying her, she’s simply _perfect_ for the role.

Hanji is gender neutral. The anime gave Hanji more feminine features, but they never use any specific pronouns (like Her/him) while addressing Hanji. They usually just call Hanji by name or title. The creator made Hanji gender neutral so the audience could decide what they view Hanji as.

Hange is intentionally androgynous, the character design in the anime leans more towards female, but it’s never discussed.

Hange is a woman, in the anime. Boy-toy Moblit called her "buntaicho" which translates to "Squad-Leader"

too bad you’re not watching the Blu-Ray versions, even the name translations were weird since they didn’t know how to write them in english back then, like they translated Shiganshina as Zhiganshina, just in this episode they called Eld Gin as "Eldo Jinn". There’s even uncensored scenes and extra animated scenes.

Hange’s gender was purposely left unassigned by Isayama in the manga. She’s appears more feminine in the anime, and I think the animators even drew her with breasts at one point in a later scene, so she’s probably closer to being a female, than a male in the show. Along with Sasha, she’s best girl for me.

Well you are probably the only reactor to notice that about Hange. This is a very little known fact but Hange’s gender isn’t specified. That’s what the creator wanted. So we don’t actaully know if it’s a he or a she.

Eren definitely described this new group well – they’re all weird lol! Hange is such a fun and eccentric person! Her VA is awesome, I’ve seen her read some of her lines in real time and it’s hilarious watching her act out Hange.
