I have to wonder if the Banana bit will be her "top star" dream being more related to directing… hmmm…
The rankings sure are dire, though. Even Kaoruko is high up. But if they’ve been fighting every night, then there could be more to their stats than we know…
Good episode overall. Seems like we will have LOTS of good character drama coming. I’ll be happy if everyone gets a chance to take the spotlight. Plus good stages and music, if the Maya stage comes back.

This Ep felt sooo damn grand with beautiful fight and many totally superb shots. Also their rating system seems… interesting. Really look forward to the next ep of the show and your reactions)

Interesting thing to note is if you pause at the rankings in the end, Banana’s at 3rd, which seems really contrary to her wanting to not act anymore and go into backstage/script stuff. So expect lots of spicy drama with her

This episode was fucking. PHENOMENAL. The music cues perfectly and is so consistently beautiful (I know I’ve been gushing about the music a lot but GUYS. THE MUSIC.) and even though a majority of the characters are pretty blatantly coupled together, they frequently spend time with their other classmates as well, and their interactions with every single other character are so important. The imagery is breathtaking, the voice acting is perfect, and the revue scenes are so well produced that I feel like I’m watching a broadway musical but better. Not to mention, the lyrics and the singing are so poignant and holy shit I could talk about this show forever. I really hope this show pulls through to the end and becomes an easy AOTY. (Also, now that you’ve mentioned the pink lights, I’ll never be able to focus on anything else ever again…)

kinda hard to know what your reacting to if all you go is Hmmmm hmmmm hmmm and have no sub title strip or a timer for visual indacation (so it seems like its out of sync when basing the sync up with your noices and comments)

Revue Starlight… I don’t think I’ve flipped my opinion on a seasonal show so much as I have with this. I was ridiculously lukewarm on the first episode (as you might have saw from the react description that episode lol) but now I look forward to it every week.
Watching the ambition play out every week is really interesting, and whilst I have no idea how I’ll feel about it by the end, it’s definitely the most invested I’ve been in a seasonal show for a long time.
