I will never understand how anybody can like a dickhead like Bakugou, he’s literally the only rival character who’s popularity makes no sense to me. I can see why people like vegeta, sasuke, seto kaiba, my man hiei, and even that edgelord shadow the hedgehog but bakugou I just can not fathom how people can root for and relate to this guy

So I don’t know why anyone would like Bakugo… I know he is a lot of peoples favorites, but it seems like he has nearly no character development and is a spoiled brat. People have more behind them than I will be number one. It makes for a bland and stale character as well as generally hating the main character for noting more than the fact he is a nice guy, and the fact this guy just wants to hurt people all the time with literally no redeeming qualities. His powers are even bland and straight forward. The guy is literally garbage. I don’t know who likes reading about a spoiled brat who can’t have development, because he has no real character. Yes, he has room to grow, but he grows to slowly and can’t admit that his ideals are wrong. This weirdo doesn’t even seem like a real person… Like no real person is this terrible… I wish his character had more depth, which is why he is literally my least favorite character. Like I want to be the strongest guy ever and i am worried about a guy with no powers helping me up so I hate him, because that means he is looking down on me … da fuq. I love flawed characters, but i can’t get behind his character, because it isn’t in the realm of reason.

But chibi you have to know this. Japanese people sees manga with different look from american. To japanese, and also me, manga character is more like idol. The popularity is mostly decided with their look, charming, and their abilities. Of coure the character developes errupts to it, but… yeah, mostly it’s like idols, or actors. I have seen a lot of people who loves bakugou just because of his look… and also todoroki… so…. no offense, but the whole culture facing anime is little different from america.
