Everything was great, except that they minimized the post-credit scene of Deku and Kirishima, had become much cooler in the manga, showed better the relationship between the two.

They don’t have secret identities in My Hero Academia. Remember, Heroes are mainstream and there are public schools for them. People know who the heroes identity are. Hell, the majority do not wear masks at all. The only person who had a secret identity was kinda All Might. Villains on the other hand, HAVE to to a degree because they’re wanted criminals and can’t be walking around, hense why they almost always go by fake names most the time.

I think Nighteye didn’t want deku to have the one for all bc he saw him been unable to save all might. So maybe he sees in Mirio higher chances and if he has one for all and is really good with his quirk his own quirk he will have more probabilities. (I don’t read the manga)
