Such a beautifully done movie. Amazing animation, so epic and mysterious! Truly is a mind blower. One of the best films ever to be made!

Having only watched the English dub, I do have to admit that the Japanese voices sound a bit strange! XD
Especially Moro. Her voice is male in the Japanese dub! 😀

In these cases I regret not being able to understand a foreign language but on the other side, this kind of art is able to bring strong feelings to any (living human) soul, maybe because art does not know for borders such as nationality, religion or language.
Also, one thing that I really appreciate about Miyazaki’s films is the fact they are absolutely different from many other cartoons, where we get to know the protagonist who has a special goal that he has to reach and manages to do that in a well known, predictable way. Yay, we got what we needed, yay, we are all happy and content! Bravo! THE END
…whereas in Ghibli films we follow the way in which the protagonists change within themselves, throughout a more complicated, psychological view in which we tend to feel pure compassion. There is no winner or loser at the end. There is just a deeply philosophical moral of the story which we are supposed to find out by ourselves, alone, without any already given clues (and I like that so much).
Please, don’t let me be misunderstood, this was just my humble oppinion.

I was first introduced to anime through the english version of this. I’ll definitely take the time to watch it in Japanese (already studying it and the trailer was great nevertheless) thanks for rekindling my appreciation of this!
