The more I try to think about what’s good in my life, the more I come up with what’s bad, and soon the one place I love with my whole heart – lying in the grass and watching the trees sway – I’ll have to move away; by the time I can afford to come back to such a green place I’ll be a different person with different memories, maybe even a different heart. But the heart I have now is broken that I have to leave a beautiful forest environment for the city. For that reason, I want to thank Princess Mononoke & really all the other Ghibli films for bringing me back to this place and reminding me of that feeling I’m always seeking…. being enveloped in beautiful, fanged, indifferent nature, closing my eyes, and feeling nothing but peace.
