So a new One Punch Man Season 2 PV Trailer came out recently… Majority of the community dislike the new art style direction, Overall I think its unrealistic to believe JC Staff can bring the same amount of quality as Season 1 was… However I do agree the character designs look off.

i dunno abt dis da trailer already seem like a huge rip off i just hope episodes r more different den da trailer as in action scences cuz i dont rlly care abt da graphics or quality i just wanna see da most beautiful part which is fights. i mean da designs r fine i just hope they make good fights since we never seen it in da trailer

let me be clear buddy 1 ofcourse they are different production we cant blame them as the 1st season was not made by them but if you r talking about quality then you should wash your eyes first 2 the creator of this anime are one and murata 3 all the chatecter designa are approved by them 4 and buddy read manga 1st watch closely hoq king look there then u will notice the difference. 5 in my opiniom jc dtaff king is much better then madhouse king ( this is the only thing i didnt like from them )

Murata and ONE trusts them. I think that’s enough for me. Ya’ll need to stop crying and worrying. Btw you all need to know the difference between a Trailer and a preview trailer. They are not the same thing. A preview trailer commonly shows stills in the anime and introduces characters etc. Check out the Vinland saga PV trailer. There’s literally zero animation just some stills etc. You guys are panicking for no reason. These people are pros who have animated a certain magical index as well as danmachi both of which have some cool ass fights.

It’s hard to judge based off of animated stills, one of which could be subject to change before the season even releases. However, J.C.Staff’s adaptation looks just like the manga panel, so in that regard I commend them for staying true to the source material and if you don’t like what you are seeing from them, then you clearly have issues with Yusuke Murata’s art style in the manga. One thing is for certain though, after how incredible Madhouse adapted Season 1 in every respect, J.C.Staff has their work cut out for them.

i’m a madhouse fanboy but tbh j.c. staff really isn’t bad. shokugeki no souma, toradora. nodame cantabile and bakuman are supposed to be really good too but havn’t seen them yet. idk there are many good (or supposedly good) j.c. staff animes.
also i don’t dislike the art style. and people keep saying pv1 was better. i disagree. pv1 was basically 80% stock footage with japanese text. i like season 2’s pv way more as it actually shows the characters and creates a bit of suspense with these titles "the strongest human on earth" etc. as someone who didn’t read the manga.

I am gonna be honest. I watched one punch man back in 2015 when it came out. I wasnt a fan of anime at the time until i watched the fight against lord boros. I will never be so hype for another anime fight ever again.
