I respect this re:anime so much. They are doing what big studios don’t do. You can say that the quality isn’t as great as good movies but these dudes are doing this because they want to and the result is amazing!

Yeah the live action Sony movie will most likely suck…the only good anime movie that appeals to a broader audience is ALITA: Battle angel. Even ghost in the shell with Johanson was not very good and let’s not talk about dragon ball ๐.

Please, do YOURSELF and ALL of US a favor and react to the video "Heroes United: Coronavirus" there are some great crossovers in it, I can assure you there is a lot of characters you love in It.. it’s very well done, it’s from the Channel "Mighty Raccoon". Plus.. the Adult Swin Channel has some interesting Rick and Morty videos, "Rick and Morty Bush World Adventures" and even a Rick and Morty Anime video made by a famous anime maker. The problem with the west adopting Japanese materials for movies/shows is that they are completely missing or misunderstanding why the material is popular in the first place.
They tend to over think, tried too hard to make sense of something or dumb down the characters. Dragonball adaptation is a perfect example.
Sony would FCK this up, sure they would make an eye candy movie but I seriously doubt they could or would keep the spirit of the show. Just ask spiderman…
They should hire writers who actually love OPM.

I love that this voice choice/inflections are english interpretations of their Japanese voice actors! So interesting, i LOVE stuff like this. THey totally sound and speak just like them if the original JPN VA could speak English fluently. Saitama particularly is fantastic. Fan projects like this have vastly greater amounts of care, attention to detail, and discipline than actual offical live action stuff tends to have. Made by fans , for fans really speaks clearly here. –
