What could My Hero Academia Chapter 193 mean for Izuku as a character? Is One For All Mutating, is Izuku having a dormant quirk activate, or has this always been the function of One For All? Regardless we finally get some insight into All For One and his little brother. At the end of the day All For One did have a good motive, but along the way it became corrupted. I think One For All’s original user was referring to the story of One For All. The story is tied to All For One like the Yin Yang. I think that is why All Might is partially visible because he is the next big point of the story. All Might won his big fight with All For One and both were critically injured afterward. So that fight and the events leading up to the big fight are things that Izuku needs to know because of his connection with Tomura Shigaraki who will inherit All For One.
But we are overlooking the big question. While Nana’s time was very chaotic, All For One was not in control of everything, but during the original users time, All For One had all of Japan at the very least under his command so. Who overthrew All For One and how? I really don’t think that Number 2 and 3 would be powerful enough to beat All For One in a fight and how did One For All get discovered? I think there might be a big detail in the discovery of One For All so Number 2 would be beyond Izuku and Number 3 somehow dethroned All For One.

I think that him having a hidden quirq could still be used for his character because it would show how he was never powerless, he just needed someone to lead him towards the right path that he could never find himself. or something like that

I think the one for all quirk allows the first to possess the user when they master it. Or it has something to do with bloodline. Deku is AFO son so it make sense he could have more access to the quirk.

I know this video is old but,,, I just thought to throw out there that there’s *many* moments and story points in this that *scream* Katekyo Hitman Reborn. If you study both anime One For All is comparable to the Vongola Blood/Rings. Both are ‘in a way’ stockpiles. We know One For All is called a ‘stockpile’ quirk. Keeping this in mind, could it be like Vongola? Could the power be working the way the Vongola blood did in that it was a genetic stockpile and passes on an ‘echo/shadow/memory’ of the former users due to the genetic factor. As it gets passed on it ‘collects’ the ‘memory’ of its users and piles up. Perhaps Izuku is so similar to the first holder that he resonates with the power on a level that ‘wakes up’ the stockpiled memory factor. This could have lead to Izukus trouble controlling it as having the genetic memory would not have been enough to keep up with the reality of the power, causing him to not be able to grasp it quite right , kind of like muscle memory but in reverse.

i would understand if midoriya did have a dormant quirk or a quirk that he could not use without another quirk like the first user, it would be understandable if midoriyas quirk was to inhance or buff up his quirk, with this it would make sence that he couldn´t use a quirk since he didn´t have a quirk to boost in the first place, this would also explain why midoriya doesn´t have control of one for all at first, since he might have powered up an already broken quirk to the point where he destroyes his body.

In my opinion, izukus dormant quirk is essentially one for all as izuku himself is the reincarnation of one for all, and after being given one for all by a prior user all might izuku essentially was able to yield twice the quirk making only izuku more powerful than all for one. This is why the prior users of one for all are watching izuku specifically closely.

I feel like someone needs to explain what a singularity is first, but I feel unqualified to myself. From what I know, a singularity is like the point of no return in physics on a black hole’s attrition disk. In a broader sense, like in literature, a singularity is when an essay, a novel a theory comes along that is a game changer. Something that makes everything that comes after it different through its sheer existence, because it influences and changes all the following outcomes. Someone please elaborate because I’m not doing it justice.

At the very least, if Izuku did have a dormant quirk, it should be something like All for One’s younger brother’s quirk. One that only has power when given another quirk. Otherwise, I’d rather it be quirks from the previous OfA users.

with mirio losing his quirk i wouldnt mind if it turns out that deku had a quirk as a child and the doctor and all for one stole it then later on in the story instead of mirio getting his quirk back he gets whatever quirk deku originally had before it was taken creating a bond between deku and mirio.

What if one of the previous users had a healing quirk and when All Might gained the power, it was activated? That would explain how he was able to use it easily? What if that quirk user who had a healing ability was his teacher and she activated her healing quirk when she passed on one for all??? ?

Basically, I think that One For All record the personality of its previous user and upload its into the quirk itself alongside there power. Some kind of safety measure in case the quirk ever got past down to the wrong kind of person or the current user got mind jack, allowing the previous users to lock the quirk out to prevent its abuse. Or in case that the new user get in a bind, the personality could gave advice/takeover
We can see this when shinso screw midoriya. Th previous user basically raised a red flag and activated OFA to help Deku break out

There are several definitions but this one fits if he means one for all has reached basically infinite power, like as much as a human body could ever possibly hold.
Yooo what if he can start spreading it around. Like what you said about it taking more than one person to get it’s full potential, combined with the theory of one for all itself, that it’s a “system crystalizing the bond between those who need help and those whose hearts cry out for justice. What if he can start either passing a certain potion on (obviously all might transferred almost all of it) but clearly not all of it completely as he kept enough to last a while especially if he had never fought all for one. So what if deku could give away ten percent to another hero, or 20%. Then they build it up and can pass on to others and all of those people will be united in that mission to save people. One power, for all heroes. What if It doesn’t mean its given to one hero for them to work for everyone (see what happened when All Might did that, when he retired, the whole thing fell apart), rather it could be used like all for one, to take the power of one quirk and spread it to all people with a heroic heart, quirkless or otherwise. Theres plenty to go around if it’s past the point of singularity.
Side note: also love the idea of deku being able to access the quirks of the other users avatar style.

I’m curious what will happen when One for All reaches it’s 50+ generation. Will it be so powerful that you’d need to be build like a JoJo character who is considered "buff" in the JoJo universe in order to not blow off your limbs from One for All’s recoil.
