Never thought I would be excited for the things to come. If it’s going to be scary for the hero side, then I would like to see how they make a comeback. This will shift the story beyond expectations.

What if Shigaraki becomes capable of making himself into a high-end Nomu with a bunch of quirks and intelligence, but is also able to control himself and bring himself back to normal form,

Honestly, I’m thinking that the series is headed in the opposite direction from where you’re thinking; where as the last generation(s) was about the biggest hero vs the biggest villain, this one will be the biggest heroes vs the biggest villains.
On the heroes side, you have All Might’s biggest failure as the pillar of society; because he did things solo, everything went to/is still going to heck when he retired. As such, I expect this to be a flaw Deku corrects as the new pillar by taking on that burden with (at least a few of) his classmates.
And on the Villains side, well one of Shigaraki’s greatest strengths is his ability to inspire loyalty using acceptance, benevolence, and his weird kind of charisma. I guess I just expect him to keep that up.
Granted, I could certainly see them "cutting the fat" in regards to the 100,000 mooks, but on the other hand I don’t expect them to contribute much when we get to that final war arc anyway.

i have a feeling hawks is gonna get found out as a double agent, by the liberation army, much sooner than we would expect, and hes gonna meet a really gruesome end. perhaps in front of deku. i hope to see deku master the black whip and gain another power within the next, say, 10 chapters.

I never thought about Hawks’ facial expression being different. Don’t give me secret messages. I’m no Endeavor though. If the number 2 hero wanted me to read something then I’d check it out.

Four months from now is the beginning of the second year, and I don’t see U.A. standing after Shigaraki’s attack. I’m thinking that we might get a time skip around this time or the students will have to go underground to continue the academia of My Hero Academia.

At first I thought that Dabi was talking about Deku but now I think that he was talking about Shoto, since Shoto didn’t even make it in time like Deku and Bakugou (though Hawks still beat them), so Dabi might feel like Shoto is falling behind.

Running thoughts:
0. Theories you say…Hawks dies, Endeavor gets a near death story. Actually, Hawks dies protecting Endeavor. All Might. He’ll live? IDK. People are talking about a break out from Tarturs.
0.5. "Spinner and Mr. Compress…." I’m sorry, but I’m with Dabi on this one. Mr. Compress did nothing.
1. I didn’t taken in consideration Hawks’ facial expression until Endeavor pointed it out.
2. Bakugo being irritated by Hawks. ? He’s acting like a scorn No. 2 hero. ?
3. I’m not surprised that Endeavor was able to pick up on Hawks code.
4. But Hawks saying that Endeavor can be dense…LOL. A true fanboy can admit his idol’s faults.
5. Twice is a slob. Litterbug. ?
6. Hawks wing training. Amazing.
6.5 From what I can remember from random facts about birds: birds can sense vibrations from their feet and feathers, see and fly by/along magnetic fields…. My guess is that Hawks is using his feathers as canal and ear drum and interpreting the vibrations as words.

to be honest when hero academia end’s i think the final boss before shigaraki and deku fight will be a darkseid/thanos expy. given how most show’s involving the justice league/avengers end with them as the final boss. and i suspect that class 1 A will be come a sort of justice league of the my hero aca universe
