I think funimation has the rights to the last rebuild movie. So I don’t think Netflix can get that.

I just finished the 26th episode last night. I’ve never watched this anime before despite watching a ton of anime during my life. This one was always a tricky one to find anywhere to watch til a few days ago unless you bought the dvd/vhs set. I thought it was pretty good for a 1990s anime but the last few episodes were pretty damn bizarre. I’m impressed that you decided to review a 1990s anime, would love to see you do more. I didn’t notice the movies were on netflix too, I’d like to see you do reviews if you have time.

Now watch END OF EVANGELION, the true ending to this series. At least for us, Netflix Latin America, it is available… and yes, they run out of budget through the last episodes and that is why it ended that way. I manage to watch it during my teen years.. a true classic for sure.

Bone of the best anime I’ve ever seen. Evokes a lot of questions and queries. Loved how ambiguous it is

I went into this show a couple years ago with very high expectations coming from a couple of friends say "this is amazing"! I was watching a lot of anime at that point so I wasn’t new to anything older like NGE. In the end I couldn’t get into it overall. Ended up absolutely hating the main character and that final couple episodes, my god… Just not my thing. Action was good for the time though.

I think watching "The End of Evangelion" is a must. The end of the series gives you a perfect character/thematic ending, while The End of Evangelion movie gives you the perfect plot based ending.

The release is bad but not the worst,
The end of Evangelion resolution is bad and torrents online are better
This applies to the show
The dub is worse but still barely watchable
The subs are different and off, they have the same context but worded differently
For example: “kimochuwarui” means “How Disgusting” however episode 1 says “this is so gross”

Translation difference is negligible "Love" is an emotion of different degrees, cultural nuances of context determines the hierarchy. So crying about this is pointless & ironic coming from the anime LGBTQ community forcing gender stereotypes on a subjective emotion.
worth it to point out, Kaworu is actually saying "そう、好意に値するよ" where 好意 is "koui," not "koi" or 恋. 好意 can be translated to grace, BUT!! it would have been better to translate this as "You are worthy of affection."

The evan pilots are all children as their mothers were sacrificed in order to form the Eva. Their souls create the eva therefore the children can sync with them
