"Shinji is barely back here, and she already goes to her lover?" Yes, there is something between Misato and sex, isn’t there? Like she uses it as a means to find the kind of personal valuation or approval that Shinji seeks by piloting the EVA…

"He is in, like, a state of meditation… he doesn’t want to be brought back now." That is not impossible, but I prefer to think of this as a case of hightened awareness, something not unlike a drug trip. Shinji is questioning his own motivations. He’s noticing he pilots the EVA to get respect. He obviously needs acceptance and recognition, valutation, perhaps even love (‘somebody be nice to me!’); and he is not getting it, or only indirectly (‘they respect me when I pilot the EVA’). The question is, is this a reasonable motivation — or even a stable one — for someone to pilot an EVA?

How good Wifi is depends on the number and size of antennas, as well as beam width + beam direction. I have a monodirectional antenna from the ground floor to a 3rd floor wifi bridge, connected to an omnidirectional (360 degree on a flat plane only) wifi to spread it to everything else on the 3rd floor.

Anno said he was into Ryu Murakami’s novel and NGE’s tone is similar to the mentality of Murakami’s novel.
Maybe, this episode most represents Anno’s nuance.

Was I right to think that every time Eva 01 goes berserk the only thing that fuels it is Shinji’s will? I mean he synchronizes into unit 01 enabling him to move it by his own will.
I have been on to this anime for so long, but until now I haven’t fully understand what I want to know.
Yes, all of the Eva pilot’s mothers were dead. Supporting my theory that their mother’s souls were inside the Eva they pilot respectively. This could be supported by the first plugless entry made by Shinji’s mom on Unit 01. And take not that they tried to pull her out, as mentioned earlier (the failed salvaging 10 years ago). Which by the way, Shinji’s mother wanted in the first place, sadly she does not want Gendo to know this (remaining inside the Eva unit 01). Making the "salvaging" impossible, leading for it to fail.
Am I right to think that Rei is a clone of Shinji’s mother? Making Rei Shinji’s mom or sister?
