Hmmm……I don’t think they were saying Code Geass was a NGE ripoff. They were saying Code Geass was DeathNote combined with Gundam. Gundam’s creator (Sunrise) saw Death Note popularity and want to jump the bandwagon. Thus, Code Geass came into existence (and Gundam 00 later on).

There is also another canon old show that everyonr call perfect, or near perfect. Cowboy Bebop. Its an adventure, criminal, sci-fi show abount bounty huntets. Great story and awesome characters

I’m actually kinda afraid he’s built up too much hype, getting overhyped for a show and that show not being perfect can hurt one’s impression of it. Especially for a show like Evangelion.

Yo dude I just randomly decide to see if anyone was watching this show currently and fuck yeah this is awesome. Btw, this isn’t a spoiler, but there are essentially TWO endings to this series, the ending of the anime, and a movie called "The End of Evangelion" both are a fucking masterpiece but you MUST watch the movie, as it contains the two real final episode that were cut from broadcast.
