I cried like a baby in my reaction vid….literally bawled my eyes out! I was not expecting to cry while watching MY HERO, let alone for a “villain”

I found some people just see things through the perspectives of the good and the bad. I believe that heroes do not always derive from complete justice. Justice itself is a propaganda which has historically been used to justify one’s ideology. I wonder there is no game of justice (heroes) vs injustice (villains) but justice vs justice.
For me, there is no way to get mesmerized by hero stuff as well as villains. There are no true heroes and villains, but the social structure in the anime is a serious problem.

Hawks knew that he’d eventually had to do this from the moment he got into that mission, but he still befriended TQwice and deceived him because that’s what he had to do for the mission to be successful. I do feel sorry for Twice and as Anna said, he would’ve been a great hero if someone like Deku or even someone like Hawks was there for him when he needed to be helped and saved.

Hawks real name isn’t known by the public this is due to way he became a hero. Good point that Dabi might have some kind of alternate thinking. Maybe he underestimated Hawks resourcefulness? Maybe he didn’t consider how loose lip Twice was gonna be?

Hawks real name isn’t known by the public all heroes’ real names are not supposed to be known to the public, so the fact that Dabi (or Twice couldn’t tell who said it but it looked like Twice said it) knows his real name catches Hawks off guard and makes you wonder how does he know that when it isn’t supposed to known to the public

Hawks did the right thing, if the heroes don’t kill they will lose, if Hawks didn’t kill twice the heroes would lose the war easily, also Dabi wants to call everyone by their name but don’t tell his name to nobody lmao

The first character we see Twice interact with canonically(not chronologically because that’s Giran) is Dabi back in the forest arc. So the fact that Dabi was the one with the real Twice in his final moments, encouraging him, is so wild. That little high five too. Pain. His little speech to Toga is sad. And the way they changed the ED to show how sad Toga was without him. The villains aren’t necessarily right in what they’re doing, but the idea they’re striving for isn’t exactly wrong either. The destruction of the current hero society.
A society that pushes people to the side if they have quirks that make them look different from other people. There’s actually a group of people who hate people with heteromorphic quirks that got completely cut from the anime in S5 and kinda tied into Spinner’s arc. A society that saw Toga’s quirk and just said, "Ew. Gross." Instead of helping her out(granted, most of the blame on this one falls on her parents but still). A society where if you trip, the world will keep kicking you as you’re down so you can never get back up. A society where a hurt and traumatized child can wander the streets with hundreds of people passing him by saying, "Oh. Someone else will take care of that."
The world rejected the League. So they made sure to be there for each other. They started as a band of misfits but slowly became an actual found family. Twice thinks he ended up letting his family down again. And the worst part is, the real Twice doesn’t know his clone was successful in saving Toga or Compress. He doesn’t know that they aren’t upset with him at all. R.I.P. Twice. You were an amazing character. A complicated villain. He would consider his days with the League to be the best parts of his life. So in that sense, you could say he was happy. R.I.P.

So when Twice said "that’s just what’s convenient for u!" doesn’t that apply to Twice too like he complained abt always falling in life but when he was given the chance to get up he refused and said his soul only exists for his frnds like isn’t that just what’s convenient for him? to say he’s doing this for them(we know he actually means it , but so does Hawks when he says "I don’t wanna fight u!")

I was hoping that Twice would’ve turned, l loved him ever since in season 3; I was both sympathetic and a fan of him, he and Tokoyami were my favorite characters

To be fair this hero society is so flawed like Shigaraki said they have no problem throwing you under the rug they did it to all of them Gentle Criminal was another example but the anime never explained it as good hid family did lose there home thanks to him just wanting to save a life and he was kicked out

I loved Hawks before this episode, and I love him even more now. Hawks and Mirko are the only reason I’m watching My Hero!
I HAVE A SUGGESTION ON AN ANIME YOU SHOULD WATCH!
The Fate series. There is a LOT of content to watch, and I think guys would love every second of it! That universe is very expansive and shit. If you read this, please. Barely anyone reacts to it. You guys are so smart and get every detail, so I would watch you discuss it if you do watch it!
Fate has historical figures in it, so it’s fun that way! The magic/power system is great too! THE LORE IS AMAZING AND THE CHARACTERS TOO!
They have movies too! It’s just…I can’t praise it enough. From the main continuity, to the other different timelines, everything. It’s my Top number 1 favorite anime series (movies/visual novel/books/even the games).
There is also a new Fate anime coming out soon. Called Fate/Strange Fake, it was just announced like 2 months ago.
