Self Defense ? If you mean iida following his own selfish desires for revenges and RUNNING into stain on purpose. Deku trying to run to find iida and he could’ve stayed in the shadows and waited for help but he deliberately went to stain and todoroki doing the same thing and engaging stain just like deku. That’s not self defense and btw there are things called laws even hero’s trying to do the right thing have to abide by if they don’t want to be and inspiration to young people with powers to hurt others to be like “those hero’s broke the laws to save someone I can do the same” that’s call being a vigilante

I can agree with Iida being punished, but Shoto and Deku made 100% morally correct decisions. What is law does not equal what is right.

Reactions like this just goes to show that it’s a good thing that superpowers are only fictional. People would just form violent vigilante gangs that would gladly kill for vengeance, or some wrong they imagine others have committed. Eventually all these dumbasses would do is to get some innocent person, or themselves killed. Mobrules aren’t the law, or even real rules, it’s just anarchy.

Why r they so surprised about the chief of police being a dog? We already seen cat police officers and Tokoyami has a mf bird for a head.

I find it really funny how mad ppl get of the whole law issue here & the chief of the Police. You guys are only Siding with the kids cause they are the leads of this show in a situation that’s an exception to said law & YOU DIDN’T EVEN PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT THE DOG Said.
Its a strict restrictive law so ppl can’t easily excuse breaking it & causing harm in the process

December 5, 2019 @ 7:49 am
Let’s put it this way. Izuku was told by Gran Torino to stay in the train (he didn’t, Gran Torino was supposed to be with him)
Iida was supposed to be with Manual (he wasn’t. He left around the time Manual & other heroes got their teeth kicked in by Noumu)
Todoroki was supposed to be with Endevour (he wasn’t. He left to Join Izuku in a fight)
Quite literary all the kids run from where they were expected to be, away from ppl who were reposible for them & jumped into a conflict they were not trained for.
Iida was looking For Stain (he is the one mostly at fault here)
Izuku went looking for Iida (expecting/suspecting going into a fight)
Todoroki left his dad’s hero work to go help his friends (in a fight)
All 3 Activly going into a public quirk fight on their own. That is not self defence. If Stain jumped them or either one of them that would be a different story. However that is absolutely not what happened

I love this series of videos, but I fee like yall really misunderstood the Chiefs point. Regardless of how things worked out, Iida did NOT go after Stain to help anyone, inclduing Native. He went looking for a fight so he could kill Stain. That’s wrong/illegal on so many level. Deku and Todoroki are more defensible, but at the same time, if THEY can break the rules in the hope things work out, why can’t everyone? Laws for heroes exist because without them, there’d be way more vigilante violence.

December 5, 2019 @ 7:52 am
you guys are getting too triggered over the whole thing, you have to think about it in terms of how a society like this would be run
Brandon, from across the street
December 5, 2019 @ 7:53 am
I don’t usually say much but this is happening. The whole video and fallout of Stain wasn’t propaganda for the villain association, they just benefited cuz of there affiliation with the event. It wasn’t propaganda at all, it was to show the parallel and impact of Stain to All Might. If u simply dismiss it and demean it as such, then it would be the same as calling All Might’s appearance/impact that, because that’s exactly how the news presented and used All Might presence. The way that villain watched the video he had the same expression and feeling as Deku as a kid watching All Might, as Grand Torino explained it to u, it’s charisma. He’s inspiring the whole society, a society that actually needs to change, whether it’s for the better or worst is part of the point/debate/question. The problem is when u react to it as just evil person, bad guy, or terrorism, ur removing the humanity, motivation, cause, and most of all relatability and discussion, ur just dismissing it cuz it’s hero vs villain, villain bad. Ur watching in dub so it’s easier to catch everything and it’s not a lot of fill in the blank, which make it more disappointing. I think the show explains everything and presents the points of view very well that everything isn’t black and white. So that being said, there’s always different perspectives to look threw for a better understanding and to bring people closer, I enjoy u guys, maybe in the future with my hero (and ur anime reactions in general) take more time to process, even go back to parts to re watch cuz it’ll most likely clear up whatever ur fussy on. Keep doing u, ya’ll, whatever, and keep striving to be better…..or something

I think it’s great they didn’t accept any of the fame or praise for Stain, true hero’s are people who help just to help, not be recognized, showing that Deku, Todoroki, and even Ida have all grown to be selfless, in Stains eyes true hero’s

Iida went after the Hero Killer for revenge, not to save Native: Not Self-Defense
Deku went after Iida and saved him from Stain, but found himself unable to flee (because of Native): Not Self-Defense, but still Lawfully justifiable
Todoroki came and saved them, but all 3 other Heroes were Paralyzed so he could not flee: Lawfully justifiable…however once Deku recovered there was an opportunity to save Iida and Native and then flee, BUT they KEPT FIGHTING: Not Self-Defense
They all left their superiors to find Stain as well as didn’t get any other Pros around to help, which ya know is also wrong.
Also noting that even after Deku and Todoroki showed up Stain decided "not" to kill them, at best he decided to paralyze them so they wouldn’t stop him from killing Iida and Native. Their interference only ended up causing Stain to take any action against them at all.

December 5, 2019 @ 8:00 am
Ida didn’t try to get Native out of danger he just fought stain by himself with out telling a hero because he was consumed with revenge which escalated the situation when his friends had to help him. It’s like if a cop in training tried to catch a murderer if he caught him it would be good but it still would’ve been better if they told their superiors because they are more prepared and experienced. It also blurs the lines between a citizen with powers stoping stain and a actual licensed hero since they are students.

December 5, 2019 @ 8:04 am
That wasn’t self defence . They all 3 picks the fight . And about saving the people. We can’t just drive the car on the road just because we know how to drive , we have to get license too. So the rules were fine !!
MrPopTarted
December 5, 2019 @ 8:04 am
How was that self defense? They all knew the rules and they ignored their superior’s orders and specifically ran around the city looking for Stain so they could beat him. This is a hero society that follows laws, what they did is the epitome of Vigilantism.

Based on all the comments, in my opinion, The Normies need to stop the MHA reactions since they apparently don’t understand the plot, at least that’s what I’m hearing.

The law works a similar way in real life – if there’s a situation where somebody’s life is in danger, ordinary citizens are required by law NOT to do anything that could endager themselves or anyone else, no matter how heroic it might be. As he put it, it may not always go the way you. What if Deku, Todoroki and Iida had died? There’d be four dead heroes instead of a potential one, and no witnesses to report that it was Stain.
Just as in here through, anyone who DOES take a form of heroic action – e.g. pulling a gun on a robber, attacking a mugger, or running into a burning building – would typically not be punished unless there was enough pressure from media groups to FORCE the police to uphold the law. The police would prefer to do whatever they can to let those people off the hook, usually with a slap on the wrist and a lecture about not doing something so dangerous.
The overall idea of such a law is minimise potential fatalities. Leave the heroics to the emergency services, who are trained and equipped for such a task. Two dead bodies instead of one dead body would just make everything a whole lot worse.

6:20: LOL! It’s actually really funny that you mentioned that "One Horn!" … You have no idea just how important someone with just one single horn is going to be in future episodes!!!
It’s a spoiler so I won’t ruin anything for anyone, but I just kinda chuckled when you said "One Horn" a little sarcastically.
In the very near future… Well, anyway.
Just be on the lookout for anyone who may or may not have just one horn on their head!

Ida was wrong because he went looking for trouble however, I’m from a stand your ground state so I don’t think Midoria or Shoto did anything wrong.
