I think we don’t know yet if Bakugo is going to join them or not. He said he wants to win, he didn’t say he wanted to be a hero or a villain. When Bakugo hits people it means he likes them. Right? LoL… So he might join the villains.
But seriously Bakugo has to be straightforward in that kidnap situation whether he’s going to trick them and escape or if he’s going to join them. If he fakes it they’d know he’s shady so he has to punch a couple of guys for legitimacy and for respect. Bakugo is also smart and should know exactly that Midoriya is coming for him like always. I think Bakugo is going to play for time and bide his time. At this time I also think he respects his classmates, the ones who are powerful – he respects them more than he does the villains and so he’ll play for time until something comes up. But he has to act sassy and toe the line at the same time, can he do it?
