official website has opened and announced that an original anime titled Megalo Box will premiere in Spring 2018. The anime will be a part of the 50th anniversary commemoration project of Ashita no Joe franchise.

Based on the original draft by Ikki Kajiwara and Tetsuya Chiba, Megalo Box will center on a boxer named JD, who has immersed himself in fixed matches in an underground ring.
