Megalo Box Related – Tomorrow's Joe Movie Review + Retrospective
Megalo Box is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Tomorrow’s Joe manga & Discotek Media manage to release this film at the right time. This video covers the film compilation of the 1970 boxing anime Ashita No Joe. Personally, I would recommend watching the complete anime series but purchasing this film is currently the only method to support the original part 1 anime as part 2 is available via Crunchyroll. The movie includes a rare Eng dub from an obscure licensing company Tai Seng Entertainment. Below are some links to the previous release format. The dub itself ranges from solid performances to stiff dilevery; it’s a little bit of good & bad.

Can you expand on old anime and Italy? I have an Italian friend who hates anime. I think it’ll be pretty funny to tell him.

Is it even possible to get a true and fair view on just how much Rikiishi suffered in this short version? It’s a feat that must be respected.

I still remember how "Ashita no Joe" make me cry like a girl for allmost a week for just two characters. Not even Rei and the entire Nanto Goshasei’s death make me cry like that (Manly tears).

You forgot another country. In middle east we love old anime. They are carved in our childhood.
