It’s a GOOD series, and fantastic reaction series. Season 3 should be hopefully coming soon. Even the Mythbusters have watched it, and a former Mythbuster did her take on the series.
Season 2 is smaller, and we can blame Covid for that.

the coolest thing about this mangaanime is that everything senku say and use is rooted in real science. you can literaly do everything he does at home(if you know how be caution about the dangerous stuff). I’ve been reading the manga since day 1 and it’s so amazing and every character is so unique and fun even the villans, a truly amazing story!

I’ve read or heard somewhere a really good explanation/analysis of Dr. Stone – it is untraditional shounen. If you define shounen genre as “growth through struggle”, which is a pretty good definition imho, Dr. Stone definitely fits the bill, only instead of superpowers, ths show uses intellect.

I find it hard to believe that “EVERYTHING” rotted away in just 3700 years. I’m sure there should still be underground bunkers and hideouts that would still have preserved stuff in it. That’s one of the reasons why Dr. Stone isn’t in my top 10.

yup, decent following and not a lot of episodes, which means: the manga is FUCKING GOOD. Granted this was the same with The Promised Neverland and season 2 fucked with us all, but dr stone’s season 2 was amazing and not rushed at all, so, you know, I really don’t see how they could go wrong with future seasons, I’m pretty confident it’s just going to keep on being great

yeah~ a lot of the science in the series is pretty much 100% true how to make stuff. i remember Kari Byron, one of the 5 main members of Mythbusters, posted a video looking at a lot of the stuff Senku ends up making in such a primitive future and she was pretty much saying this can be made.

just so you are aware, carrie from mythbusters reviewed dr. stone and has said while its obviously dramatized for entertainment every scientific concept that senku brings up is completely solid and plausible. its an amazing and creative show. the incredible character designs also has a legit explanation, the lines on everybodys face and body are from the stone they were in, cracking over time.

About the liquor store thing, the booze might survive theoretically, but everything around it like the bottle, the building the shelves have been completely eroded away. It’s estimated that without human interaction the world would have almost no signs of us existing after so many years. I think 3,000+ definitely breaks that thresholds.
