Ayano Hanesaki, a first-year student at Kanagawa Prefectural Kitakomachi High School, has a badminton ability able to surpass others effortlessly yet avoids playing the sport. She meets Nagisa Aragaki, a third-year student who practices day and night aiming to become the best player in Japan. Encouraged by coach Tachibana Kentarou, supported by club colleagues, and fired up by various rivals, the two engage in their youth and adored sport so thrilling like a shuttle flown at high speed!

The art is really good since i can tell by the little details they added that makes this badminton anime realistic. Reminds me of the days i used to play nationals very nostalgic i hope the hype is as good as i expect it.

Expect tons of slow-motion scene in this one. It’s interesting how they animate the way they smash those Shuttle "Cocks" and those….ahem…oppai. ? Btw, as a badminton player myself, I’ll definitely going to watch this.

Girls??? Guys as main character would be more epic. Look at actual badminton games, from skill, power, speed, men can deliver them way better. Look at prince of tennis. This anime is trash, exploiting girls character for fan services alone. 100% will attract perverts, not badminton fans. This is an insult to women badminton player around the world. Not gonna watch.

Fun Fact:
Badminton is one of the fastest and most difficult ball games in the world, as a smash can reach speed of up to 400 km/h with the world record being 496 km/h and also the fastest recorded ball out of any sports. Even worse, unlike tennis where the ball must bounce twice for a score, badminton only require the ball touch the ground for a score, meaning your opponent can easily insta-kill you with one smash in a blink of an eye…
…..yet for some reason, this sport is looked down upon by Americans, with many thinking it’s just a “backyard sport”
