Grancrest Senki Episode 18 Live Reaction And Review: 4th Faction revealed, Priscilla is the Key
Priscilla is the Key —- and her daddy evil papacy pope is the wild card 4th faction that been waiting for.
While historically in Europe the papacy was quite strong in many regards, but here it does feel like they should have zero chance here as all other countries are pretty much in 1 of these 3 big alliances, so who are they gonna attack to expand on really.
Papal state should be big as maybe 1 medium sized country but as all those medium sized countries seems to be allied to all the other ones….
Anyway, I guess vampire is either the true leader or really high up on the pope faction, as the pope is likely pure evil and not at all trying to remove the world of chaos.
Question is if Siluca father is in their faction or if he is just gonna starscream in general to get the control of Marianne forces.
and oh yeah alexis si finally doing something, he will for sure join in with Theo as 1 union…..which he wanted already and Theo is like noooooo…because…love?

I’m thoroughly enjoying this anime. It kind of surprises me at how little popularity this anime has on YouTube. I figured there would be more reactions. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Great reaction, I like your analysis!

The original light novel is very complicated and animation is trying to adopt it with limited budget. Therefore, it cannot have a good explanation on its world which is way more NON-European. It looks like a combination of Feudal Japan and Ancient China (in the period of the Romance of Three Kingdoms) although every character has a European name and mixed some European sword-and-sorcery setups. By the way, Priscilla is a combination of Jeanne d’Arc and Martin Luther, and her religion is more like druid mixed with Islam than Christianity.
