Tantanbo’s voice actor is the same person who voiced Old Man Cly Baby in 1996. It’s very common for Kitaro series for voice actors to play different characters among each seasons.

And technically, Kitaro can use ANY elements (thunder, fire, heat ray, ice, wind, nuclear power etc.), magics, body regeneration, invincibility, etc.. And anything, his organs, his pet, what he owns including clothes can be used for battles.

People need to stop to watching every time DB and Nanatsu, every time the same and same and same routine…this is something new for the new generation, dont be afraid and WATCH the legendary anime: Gegege no Kitaro!
So, BrianxStephanie, the yokai castle design in every 6 seasons looks little fun to see, the only one that changed the design is futakuchionna (i prefer the past design because she looks more japanese woman style)
Kamaitachi design in Ushio & Tora is very different but there a few design of Kamaitachi in the japanese culture 😀
I remember the toy of yokai castle in ’80, it was little big °°

第五作のが入ってたり
ほとんどが第五作のタイトル表示だったり、
六期なのか五期なのかはっきりしてほしい。

Konaki-Jijii, or "Old Man Crybaby" turns into stone when he cries. 🙂
The Spirit Hair Chanchanko vest can do tons and tons of things, we’ll see what they’ll show in this adaption. Kitaro has many other abilities as well, and is capable of gaining more along the way. A lot of his abilities are considered quite disturbing, so the amount of abilities they’ll introduce and give him depends on how rated G they want to keep this show, despite all of the PG material they’ve got away with already. Kitaro is also capable of using all of his fingers to shoot finger bullets. We’ll see if he ever needs to go that far!
As for that cloaked antagonist that appears every episode to ruin Kitaro’s day, Medama-Oyaji(or "Daddy Eyeball") has said the pentagram symbol carved in its arrow symbolizes a connection with Hell. In the previous adaptions, Kitaro is known to travel to Hell and have connections there, so the dark aura could represent that. Might even be Kitaro pulling power from Hell so he can vanquish some Yokai. Or, it could just be coincidence and they were just trying to teach you to never make Kitaro angry.
Looks like we might take a break from major incidents to give us a tour of the GeGeGe Forest. Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and the little human boy, Yuta, run around all excited. <3
