    Kirishimas quirk is hardening. I thought it was boring but on second thought, its a general term. You know tetsu with steel quirk, he can be hard as a steel, thats it. But kirishima can harden even more than that, and whats the hardest mineral on earth? I cant wait if kirishima would have that kind of upgrade 🙂

    This prob means fatgum will be out of commission till he eats a a bunch… coz hes not literally deforming and reforming hes burning the fat for energy or something and he will be a skinny person with no attack power since it looked like a momentary surge…. this was a good ep.

    This fight was a pretty good adaptation from the manga. A VERY key difference was them re-ordering the pace of the fight and the flashback. In the manga, the fight was spread out over a few chapters, and would switch from his flashback, to the current fight to the flashback again. And since it was a weekly release, the pacing was a little off.
    Here they placed the flashback as a single scene, which worked a little better in my opinion.
    The other key difference that others have pointed out is how damaged Kirishima looked at the end. In the anime he looks pretty scruffed up. While in the manga he was a broken bloody mess.

    This episode is good but the season four episodes are progressing very slowly . There are so many flashbacks and cliffhangers.

    Something it took me awhile to get until I saw this and read the vigilante manga but fatgum Quirk does not make him fat his quirk is fat absorption basically he can absorb anyting into himself as long as he has body fat. Basically he has to be fat for his quirk to be very effective otherwise it wouldn’t be able to do anything. Basically he’s a living shield were he burns fat and absorbs any attack as long as he has the fat to back it up. Basically his ability is a stockpile ability kind of like a downgraded one for all but he can only absorbed the damage he’s received. FatGum absorbed all the punches then returnsa a single punch thaf was the equivalent of all of the punches rappa had been throwing at him throughout the entire fight
