I like the pacing of the scenery clips at the begining of the video, but as the music ventured towards becoming DnB; you started using the sweep cuts to introduce characters with what I felt like were possibly very out of context shots. Your animated cuts also made the video feel very jarring, and the use of this post process made the video feel strangely against the original fabrication. I also feel like at around the same time you lost pacing and reverence to the context of the film. Over all I did like your musical cues for switching between cuts, your choice of music definitely was pretty good, and when you didn’t animate your cuts or place shot over shot; it felt good. Keep at it man, I’m just providing constructive criticism hoping to see you progress.

You know, I don’t remember if I saw Rei save Asuka at the last moment. That’s a very powerful message, that right as the Nuke is going off/about to, as important as we know this scene to be and what they were both willing to sacrifice here, she still took the last moment to push Asuka away, even knowing it risked not stopping the Angel.
