Legendary super saiyan is an unstable version of the regular super saiyan that forcibly increases one’s power as time goes on with no need to train. However it’s unstable in the sense that it forces the user into a insane berserker state that only Kale from DB Super has overcome.

I see DB fans bitch all the time about Broly having shitty motivations but the funny thing is, he actually has motivation out of every villain minus Baby and Zamasu. Frezia was just space hitler, Cell was just a bully, Buu just did whatever the hell he wanted. Out of the main three villains in DBZ Broly was the one with actual motivation and not just going mad cause’ fuck it.

The funny thing is…. After I saw the TFS version I decided to go watch the original. At the part where King Vegeta tries to stab Broly and it breaks, it actually stabbed into him in the movie and he makes this awful little screech. It wasn’t ready for that at all….

They try to make the whole Broly was in raised from a crying baby sound like it made sense. Apparently goku cried loudly which is a sign of a strong saiyan while broly was very wimpy and was seen as weak. Broly hates being weak.

Just incase anyone was wondering the joke between north and south kai about the ‘other world tournament’
The joke is that the other world tournament is between deceased fighters and since the south galaxy was destroyed south kai will have more choices for fighters.

I’ve read the DB manga (not DBZ), and Broly having such a bad motivation is definitely something Toriyama would do. His humor is pretty weird lol. It’s a lot more serious in DBZ, you won’t see Goku sending rabbits to the moon in the newer stuff. A lot of people hate Broly even though he’s just a throwback to Toriyama’s old style.
