She shouldn’t be starting with Dragon Ball Z. That was the biggest problem with the Narutard generation. They knew nothing about Dragon Ball and only saw a few episodes of DBZ. DBZ Kai on top of that, which is horrible. Not that Mel is one of them. Just saying the proper way is to start with Dragon Ball. To understand how powerful these characters are and how they developed.

Dragon ball was the 1st one( when goku was a kid and 1st might bulma and fight the red ribbon army and fight king piccolo and Piccolo jr), if you can go back and watch that , then Dragon ball z then dragon ball super, ( we not going talk about GT which is ok but not cannon, Super took some stuff from it tho,)

Im actually very interested in this idea :] it’s very rare to find someone who watches/reacts to anime, that’s never seen dbz.

The version ur watching is true japanese anime and the reason im bringing it up bc u should watch the US version only bc of the music created by Bruce Falconer. There were so many epic themes from goku turning ssj for the first to cells theme. Vegitas Final Flash theme is on point

For Dragon BALL I prefer dubbed over subbed cuzz his voice is annoying AF in subbed. To me personally… I just don’t like it
