This game is covering all of DBZ (Sayain saga-Buu saga) it was confirmed by Sean Schemmel, your going to be able to play Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, and Trunks

The thing though is that DB games have almost never had longevity. there’s always anew format on how to play. The open world stuff where their eating and fishing and all that???? I bet it’s just cut-scene type of stuff that lasts for seconds of screen time. I doubt it’s going to be very integral to the game. Remeber this is essentially just another fighting game. There’s a DBZ MMO if you want all the other optional stuff, but they’ll always limit what goes into fighting games. In my opinion they should have expanded on the Time patrol aspect and kept inventing new enemies and stories for that; and improved /expanded on character creation. Hell they could have had a game where the DB Universes collide like in DB Heroes and have stuff like SSJ Blue vs a SSJ4. Now that would be hype.

Tbh no matter what this game is coming before march because that’s their deadline for releasing a major DB game
For those who don’t know Bandai has a contract with Shueisha where they have to release at least 1 major DB game every fiscal year and Kakarot is this fiscal year’s game which ends end march

I’m honestly tired of buying a new DBZ game and it does the same Saiyan, Frieza, Android, Cell saga I want new concepts but its 2019 there’s no logical reason we shouldn’t at least get up to U6 V’s U7 tournament but imma cop this for sure.

For the life of me, I can’t remember that name of the game, but On PS2 they tried to do a semi-open world DBZ game before but it wasn’t as popular as the strait up fighting games. Was it called Dragon ball Legends???? Legacy???? Ahh. It’s bothering me now.
Anyways I thought the concept was a good new way to play but I guess DB fans at the time just wanted Straight up Ass Whoopings. It was around the time of DBZ Budokai 1 & 2. Y’all remember Budokai 2 with Kid Buu being Hard as hell to beat. He could do his most powerful attacks with nearly NO energy at all and meanwhile you needed minimum 3 – 4 bars just to get out the way. It was so OP that he could recharge enough energy to hit you again with an UNBLOCKABLE attack while you were falling to the ground from the first hit. it was n’t even stoppable because of the animation cut-scene.

3:59 if we have all saiyan saga, cell saga and buy saga in the game with the added mini games and it being open world, it would level up to about 30 hours of gameplay roughly. The DLC could be dragon ball super or even adding in the non Canon movie stories
