Ever imagined Dragon Ball Z KAI being on [adult swim]? I think this is how they would make their promo for it (but much better than this lol). I might make more soon when I get more footage and inspiration. ^_^

Well we already got our great shows like Powerpuff Girls back on the Cartoon Planet block on Friday, why not have Toonami on Saturdays.

@asndestroyer2, the DVD version of Dragon Ball Z Kai has blood and swearing, so adult swim would be able to air the uncut version, the only reason nickelodeon was able to air this show on nicktoons is because they edited and cut the hell out of it.

don’t quote me on that i’m not entirely sure
but i do know that the UK version of toonami had shows like ultimate muscle and other different shows that didn’t air on the american version

@MrCornholio93 well kai is remastered and digitally enhanced and basically is just better looking (i love the original uncut i just think kai looks better) and i think kai has more cussing and isn’t as long a series as the original (sorry if this doesn’t make sense in some parts its 1 in the morning XD)

@marplatense31 Actually it’s because Stuart Snyder, the man who runs and ruined Cartoon Network, didn’t want Dragon Ball Z KAI. So it’s better off on nickToons.

@GloryXros Yeah but at least they could’ve kept the regular blood color. I like to watch it, but still could use some more RED blood where it was used before.

Kai’s script is more accurate when compared to the Japanese version. And I do think the voice acting is better. They also fixed some of errors in the artwork (e.g. Vegeta’s first appearance). The only problem it has is the censoring. It’s a shame Toonami doesn’t exist and that Cartoon Network seems to hate anime now. Oh well, at least they were nice enough to make uncut versions on DVD.

The real Dragonball should be aired on AdultSwim since Toonami is gone. Nicktoon did some pretty okay, but I prefer to watch it on CN (Toonami) or at least AdultSwim because they cut off the best part where they show the blood. Extreme censorship!!

I actualy am a fan of both versions. But I prefer Kai just a little better! No offense DBZ only fans, but thats my opinion. If you can’t deal with that, then shoot yourself in the head. @asndestroyer2 nicktoons doesnt play rated G shows, they play Y7 and PG shows. those ratings are more mature than G. Kai on nicktoons would be rated PG but it plays at all times of the day so they made it Y7. Sonny Straight said so on facebook.

@xxIchiron47xx Wrong. Some of the stuff they even say in the new Kai version is so clean and they out all the blood. The blood shouldn’t be tan brown, should be red. And also they actually cut out some of the other episodes that were made in the ENTIRE series. Like they didn’t show vegeta and nappa stop off at the bug planet and blow it up. Yes it’s not a main thing but it was how the whole story was made.

As much as I want a Toonami channel, guys it’s not gonna happen. Cartoon Network doesn’t want to focus on anime, they want to focus on live-action bullshit. As for Kai on Nicktoons, I’ve gotten used to it and watch it with my little brother.

@sepiropth Dude DBZ was never on [adult swim]. Unless you’re talking about the 2005 UNCUT Re-dubbed version of Dragon Ball Z by FUNimation, which came on Mondays – Thursdays at 10:30p.m., then no. That was STILL Cartoon Network. Not [adult swim].
